Black Lamp Post with Cross Arm

I was a little suspicious about this light pole due to it's relatively low cost - especially when comparing to other light poles, both on Amazon and at the big box hardware stores. It's perfect, however, and exactly what I needed to mount a solar post light. I ended up buying a second one later due to the quality of the first. No regrets.

Easy to put in and easy to wire up everything with these are perfect. The cross pieces are plastic, which is a little cheesy but I can live with them.

Went to big box store and all they had was super thin walled two piece that was literally twice the price (an insult to your intelligence and wallet). So went home and researched and found this. Expected a similar product to arrive but when this was delivered found it was heavy steel powder coated and high quality just like the description. These days it's common to have disappointments with misleading advertising but not with this one. Nice job. Highly recommended.

The lightpost is of great quality, is nicely colored, and is sturdy. Now the crossbar is another story. The crossbar is cheap and made out of plastic. Not sure why the product company chose to use plastic but I ordered a metal replacement for it. Beautiful post, but just don’t like the crossbar. Easy and cheap to replace with a metal one and still pleased with the product! The packing of the item wasn’t great either but the post was fine and not damaged! 4 out of 5 stars just because of the crossbar and poor packaging!

We like that it's all one piece in length instead of telescoped to reach it's height. It's 3" in diameter and slides onto an umbrella stand if you put a 2.75" piece of pvc pipe and a pvc joiner inside to stay above the welded umbrella stand screw to make them mobile and keep them straight. We are using solar lights at the top so don't need the conduit hole in the bottom. Very happy!!! We bought 2 and took the home depot ones we had just bought back because they were better and half the price.

For the price it’s a great pole, the small arm is plastic but if your only using it for looks it’s fine. If you hanging I would suggest just replacing. Nice and sturdy and installs like a pole.

The Pole arrived undamaged, and two days earlier than the time originally quoted. And to my eye the pole looks to be a quality item. Now this is just a personal thought of my own: I would have liked it if the pole would have been provided with black PVC/durable plastic type plugs that could be used to plug the three pole holes. Reason being is that I'm not at all certain that I want to utilize the cross arm (and in that case I could just plug those two holes with something that would be fairly watertight), and it would be handy to have such a plug for the electrical inlet line hole, as I think I could utilize such a plug in a way that would make that intrusion waterproof as well. But this is just a "wish I had" thought I've had in hindsight.

it fits right in to a 3" base . I was happy with the one I bought a few yrs ago and now I bought another one . It's well worth the money
