Inexpensive With Plenty of Capability
I am very happy with this after having used it extensively for the last couple of weeks. A perk of my profession is that I get to use really expensive and capable test equipment at work but I wanted some of that capability for my hobby projects. That said I went into this purchase not expecting professional quality gear. My expectation was for hobby equipment and I feel like this product fulfills that expectation quite well. There is plenty out on the web regarding what this does and does not do, so I won't rehash that here. I will say that there are many firmware available for this and some do different things, or do some of the same things differently. In any case, you will likely want to update the firmware on this or try one of the others. It is quite easy to do.This particular unit came in a plastic case with a couple of cables, an SMA F to F barrel, and the terminations for calibration. A USB cable is also included along with a nice stylus, something that is absolutely a must for the operation of the touchscreen. Everything you need to get started is here except documentation. That's reasonable because any documentation will be specific to firmware and firmware changes often. So you'll get that yourself electronically and you'll likely want to watch some videos as well to get up to speed on the operation of it.The included plastic case might be ok for some, but I recommend you put this into some more robust storage when not in use. At this price what you are getting is somewhat delicate and exposed. That's fine for a reasonably clean bench. I've even used it with care in the field. Just know that this isn't something you're going to casually throw in the tool bag, you're going to want to protect this.So far I have enjoyed using this for a number of tasks including: sweep antennas, tune filters, tune antenna traps, measure inductors, measure capacitors, and so much experimentation with tuned circuits. Not only has it increased my productivity on my hobby bench, it's really helped me to learn some concepts and reinforce others. What a pleasure to be able to do that without worry because if I harm this thing in the process that's a whole lot different than playing around with my professional test equipment at work that costs tens of thousands of dollars. In conclusion, this is a nice inexpensive bit of kit that produces reasonable results for the hobbyist. I am quite pleased with it.

ANTENNA BUILDERS AND TUNERS BEST TOOL-THE ORIGINAL
NICE ITEM,THIS NANOVNA IS THE ORIGINAL DESIGNED ONE.NOT THE KNOCKOFF.IT IS A GOTTA HAVE FOR ALL YOU OUT THERE THAT LIKE TO TUNE YOUR ANTENNAS TO AN EXACT FREQ WITH GREAT VSWR EASILY.IT DOES MANY MORE THINGS THAN THAT BUT MOST OF YOU OUT THERE WILL PROBABLY WANT O JUST GET THAT ANTENNA TO MATCH AND CHECK TO SEE IF IT PERFORMS AS ADVERTISED ON THOSE FREQ THEY HAVE LISTED.IT HAS A SLIGHT LEARNING CURVE SO DONT GET FRUSTRATED AND SEND BACK BECAUSE YOU WILL FIND THAT YOU WILL BE VERY HAPPY WITH IT ONCE YOU KNOW THE BASICS.ITS A VERY VALUABLE TOOL FOR ANYONE LOOKING TO MAKE THEIR OWN ANTENNAS AND TUNE THEM TO THE FREQ THEY WANT.GO ONLINE AND GOOGLE HOW TO TEST SWR ON NANOVNA AND SAVE IT SO THAT EVERYTIME YOU TURN UNIT ON IT WILL BE READY TO GO FOR ANY TEST AS LONG AS YOU SAVE IT WITHIN THE FREQ RANGE YOU USE AND YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO CALIBRATE IT EACH TIME YOU TURN ON.IF YOU SAVE YOUR SETTINGS IN BANK 0 IT WILL ALWAYS SHOW THOSE SETTINGS EACH TIME YOU TURN UNIT ON SO THAT IS QUICK AND FAST.IT REALLY IS VERY EASY TO LEARN TO USE IF YOU JUST WATCH A FEW VIDEOS ON YOU-TUBE...SO GO CHECK IT OUT YOU REALLY WONT BE DISAPPOINTED AND YOU WILL SOON FIND OUT THAT YOU WONDER HOW YOU GOT ALONG WITHOUT IT.

Works great indoors but very hard to see in sun light

There's a learning curve involved.
I bought this to replace a Sark100 I had been using, and while the Sark is pretty good, this one has much more functionality. In fact, in my time left on the planet I'll probably never use every function but being able to see a graph of the SWR of a given antenna over a sweep that you get to set start and stop is worth the price of admission. The screen is a bit small but I can tap it with a fingertip and it reacts like an Iphone. Hard to beat for the money

Amazing capabilities, great price
I use this to measure SWR when testing and tuning antennas. Better than an SWR meter because it's self-contained, no need to attach & key a transmitter, and you can see results in real time. It's a bit fragile and display is too dim for outdoors work, but this NanoVNA does most of what a net analyzer costing many thousands can do, for only $50. It comes with cables, adapters and plugs that seem well made. And it connects to your PC for even more analytic capabilities. Amazing! You will likely need some adapters, I got this set that seems to cover most type connectors: B083M1K7JY "TLS.eagle SMA Connector Kit in Adapter Standard SMA/BNC/UHF/N/F Male to Female Cable Connector Converter Converter Pack of 16".

Outstanding
Love this device. Although not quite lab grade it is an outstanding portable analyzer for very little money. First day I was able to sweep and tune VHF and UHF bandpass filters in the field and verify antenna VSWR for some troubleshooting efforts. The online software makes it even easier to use. Instructions are minimal and touch screen somewhat annoying at times but great results.

Good Build of the nanoVna
There are hundreds of versions of this out there, this one is a good build and accurate if calibrated correctly. I use this mainly to check the swr on my antennas. I have also used it to trace the length of coax to a fault. It excelled at both of these functions. I use this all the time in my Ham shack when building new antennas. You must calibrate it when changing the stimulus settings. Also, it only keeps 100 calibration points so calibrate it only to the range you need for the best accuracy and always save to bank 0 as this is the bank it recalls when it is started up.The build on it is sturdy enough for bench use although I would not throw it in my field bag without keeping it in its plastic case. The case on this is open on the sides so using it in rain is a no go. The touch screen is good but better if you are using a stylus. For the price it’s the best antenna analyzer I have ever used. There is a bit of a learning curve with setting it up if you are used to a regular ham antenna analyzer but nothing that five minutes on YouTube won't cure.KI7FHU 73 all
