SHW 55-Inch Commercial-Grade Office Computer Desk, Cherry

I was looking for a large desk with a lot of surface area for my Computer setup. This thing does not disappoint. The frame is well made square tube steel. While not the highest of quality, It's not cheap or flimsy. You'll will feel some wiggle out of the frame, Something like using an eraser on paper would get it to wiggle a bit. But it still feels sturdy enough that I don't feel like I have to worry about it falling apart. Assembly was simple enough, and the instructions were clear. The hardest part is getting to actual desk top on and lining up the holes. Still a rather simple task to anyone that knows how to use a screwdriver. Some of the holes for the screws were tight and took some muscle to get them in. But they went, and I had no issues. I have a Vesa desk mount attached to mine and have 2 monitors in a stacked position. With my 24" widescreen gaming monitor on bottom. And my HUGE 34" Ultrawide above that. I have plenty of room for my keyboard and mouse, Plus 2 speakers and a small sub-woofer. And still have around 15" on either side that I could use to set my PC Tower on if I ever choose to do so, and maybe a Lamp on the other side. And STILL have room. If you need room, This thing has it! I would have liked 1 more hole in the center for my wires, you get 2 on each side, which works out fine. But having one dead center would be nice for my Keyboard and mouse. The covers for the wiring holes leave a lot to be desired as the caps have a cheap feeling to them and they don't really snap securely into place. But once I ran my wires, and popped the caps in place they haven't come back out. I was worried the it would come with banged up corners during shipping, But this thing was package great! It had plastic caps on the corners of the desk top, and Snuggly fitting styrofaom over that. Overall, I'm very happy with this desk. It's sturdy enough for a full PC setup and then some! If I ever found myself needing another Large desk, I'd 100% buy another one of these.

assembled in minutes, very sturdy, would buy again

I'm extremely please with it initially. After unboxing it all, it literally took only 10 minutes to assemble it (six machined screws). It came with an allen wrench and one spare screw (intentionally marked as "spare"). I found it easier to assemble it "upside down" from the instructions recommendations, putting the tabletop on the floor...for me, that made it much easier to insert and tighten the screws, then I just flipped it over onto the legs and it was good to go. It feels sturdy, and my three 22" monitors fit on it well (which is why I chose a 55" wide table). The cherry finish simulated woodgrain looks good enough...it's not real wood, but that's fine with me for the price. I was looking for a simple, sturdy and decent sized desk. It's the size I prefer for gaming without things feeling cramped on the desktop, and it meets my telework needs perfectly, as well. Update 2023- purchased a 2nd 55” desk for another room. Still an easy to assemble desk and the first one proved durable, hence my purchase of another one. Highly recommend for a simple desk that looks good for the price. 2nd update 2023, both desks are holding up very well to use as a computer desk. Both are still sturdy and solid, and the top/surface of both have proven quite durable and easy to clean. The depth has been perfect for my use with a 30" widescreen monitor and a smaller 24" monitor next to it.

The SHW Home Office 55-Inch Large Computer Desk impressed me with its overall quality and functionality. However, I found the sharpness of the edges to be a notable downside. The tight 90-degree angles, while aesthetically pleasing, proved uncomfortable during extended use, causing discomfort to my arms and wrists. Despite this drawback, the desk's sturdy construction and spacious design make it a solid choice for anyone seeking a reliable workspace solution. With a few minor adjustments to address the edge sharpness issue, this desk could easily become a top-tier option in its category.

It’s exactly what I was hoping for, a great desk for reading which complements a white room.

Me gustó mucho, fue súper sencillo armarlo y es robusto, no se tambalea incluso con el peso del gabinete, monitor, bocinas, teclado y mouse. Es muy bonito el acabado, pero del lado izquierdo llegó con un golpe que aunque pequeño se ve muy feo. Una lástima que no tengan cuidado los de paquetería.

Very poor quality and finishing. The desk is already assembled and it is full of scratches and the legs are a bit rusty and it wiggles. Absolutely horrible.
