Can't live without this
I live in FL and like most houses down here my house is tile throughout. This is my second of this exact model. There was nothing wrong with the first one, but when I moved I accidentally left it behind and my landlord thought it was trash. I tried another brand, but it broke within months. This one is perfect and I specifically came here to find this model.I have a large sloppy pit bull so I use it frequently. I cleaned my floors yesterday, it is amazing how the dirty water tank is. Because I had some time, I ran over the floor again just to see the water tank and it was nearly clear, so it did a pretty good job on the first run.The suction is great. The floors are nearly dry in minutes. It is not a great edge cleaner, but for that I will say that if you are doing up against a baseboard, then do it from the front of the machine. I slightly lift it up a bit near the edge and it seems to do a pretty good job. This isn't a negative, I think this is the same for any floor cleaner. But that's my tip lol.It came with a nice sized bottle of floor cleaner. Which is awesome in my opinion. You only need a capful, so it does really last a long time. It stinks when you buy a machine and it only gives you a small sample of what you need to run it. I use this floor cleaner almost every week in my all tile house, and I still have half of the bottle left.Good for the price, and the machine is so good that I actually came back to purchase it a second time after my landlord threw away my first one.

A good tool for tiled floors
We have had it—and used it—for two years on our tiled floors. It is effective.

Engine burned up, but excellent cleaner when it works
Best cleaner under $500. The brushes clean way better than Bissell.

Does a great job on my tile floors.
It does a great job on my tile floors, once I figured out how to use it properly. The manual could be a bit better about explaining how best to operate the machine. There are functions I'm still not exactly sure how they work or when it is best to use them. I've also had the best results using Hoover cleaning solutions.

A Little Hard to Handle
I got this machine with the idea it may take less energy and less stress on my shoulders than the traditional mopping. It could just be my machine but the squeegee drags and does not come up on the wash setting making it hard to push around the floor. I had a floormate when they first came out several years ago and don't remember it being particularly hard to push. I called the company and they were willing to take the machine back and replace but I was required to send it back at my own expense which would have been a third or nearly half of what I paid for it. The replacement machine might have been the same so I didn't take the chance of sending it back. It does clean reasonably well the ceramic tiles but not the grout particularly. The brushes are very soft so it takes a while to clean anything that is stuck on the tiles. The tile brushes are no longer available; they may have been better but no way of knowing. With about 1500 square feet of ceramic tile in my home, I only use it in certain areas at a time and still use my regular mop on much of it. It was a disappointment when I realized my expectations were too high.

This is great for large areas
I love this little mop. I really dislike a mop and bucket, and try to avoid it as often as possible. This machine works really well on my large tiled house. It's not really a deep deep clean, but it definitely will tidy up the floor on a weekly basis. I use this machine nearly weekly, only using the scrub brush and mop and bucket for spring cleaning. It's easy to set up and use and empty. It makes an all day job into a 90 minute job. I've had it for two years now, and it's still going strong. I dry it very thoroughly after each use. I read other reviews that suggested that when I bought it, and I believe that helps its longevity.
