It is a challenge to get the hang of floating the globe. A few things... first, hold the globe on the tips of your fingers then gently center over the nib - small hands are better then big hands here. second, if you don't succeed in 5 minutes.... unplug and let it cool for 15. It seems to float pretty close (1/2 - 5/8 of an inch) above the hand. If you want it to spin, blow gently from the east across the globe and it will spin until the power shuts down.... but again, there is a trick, you'll feel like you're trying to balance it above an unseen point . I really like it, and use it as a Christian illustration, to great effect (pun fully intended).

I am absolutely in love with this! I bought it for my son and he loves it, I definitely need one for my room!It does take time to set up. First time was like 20 minutes, 2nd time about 15, 3rd time about 10. It gets easier, you just have to remember exactly which position works best. DEFINITELY WORTH the struggle of getting it to levitate!

It is magic! It is definitely a superb product, very helpful to teach a kid about our planet and its place in the universe. The main problem is that it is extremely difficult to make it work, it took more than a month of trying! I wonder if there is an easier way to get it floating, maybe a separate structure to place it correctly in a more effective and easy way.

This item is junk.. Do not buy it. The globe does not float... Or at least I am not able to get it to do so... I bought it and thoigh that it was defective.. Amazon sent me a replacement and it was also inoperable...Steer clear this item is junk.

This was a gift for my son but it doesn’t stay suspended. I’ve tried constantly but the magnetic forced the globe to not suspend. My son said it must be defective and I think he is right

This is fascinating to watch and was much enjoyed present.I look it that for long time ，finally found one that is the best one！It looks so nice and unique.

Stoped working after 2 weeks
