MyVolts12V Power Supply Adaptor Compatible with/Replacement for Seagate 9ZH9P9-RAA External Hard Drive - US Plug

As described, helped me save 5 years of pictures from a neearly-lost backup drive.

Adapter doesn't work I believe a previous comment had mention this one should be 1.5A but it seems when people order this they are getting two different adapters so it is 50/50 if you get lucky enough to get your model I wasn't however and got the 2.0A if you get this your hard drive just lights up and blinks but doesn't work. If you get the My Volts Power one I believe you get the right one if you get the upbright one like I did it doesn't even look like the one in picture

This adapter was the wrong one for my drive. I found the original my drive takes and it's 12v-1.5 amps and not 12v-2.0 amps. It appears that some drives with this product number are different. The manual has 2 lights (one white and one green). Perhaps this is the drive that takes 2.0 amps. My drive with the same product number only has one white light and takes only 1.5 amps. Very glad they were different sizes and forcing it on didn't work. Note - Seagate did a poor job as the drive itself has no markings indicating volts or amps.I kept the power supply adapter because it did fit my other external drive enclosures and has a nice long cord that may come in handy.I view this as more of a seagate issue, but make certain your drive takes the 2 amps version that this product is.
