Only if your camera has the ability to send time code, a lot of cameras only have time code in, not out. The cable itself is well made and I've had no issues with it.

If using a dual link set up 4K is possible on 3G For your set up I’d look at a 12G gives you that peace of mind that the 6G cable could “throttle” your image quality, Sorry for the basic reply but I get the feeling this was more of a dig than something you needed help with :-)
