For the Price, there is nothing better...
Performance wise, this computer stands up really well. The processor in this is extremely solid for those on a budget. Some things that stand out to me:- 4th Generation Intel Pentium (Haswell) processor (Released in Q2 of 2014)- One 4GB stick of RAM (better than 2X2 GB, because you can easily upgrade to 8GB)- On board WiFi, Bluetooth, and HDMI along with 6 USB 2.0 ports and 2 USB 3.0 ports (you just don't see that for this price)In the short time I have had this computer, I have been thoroughly impressed. I use it as a Home Theater PC and I have not been disappointed. It is small and sleek looking so it doesn't look out of place below the TV. It runs very quiet and cool (even during downloading and video playback, the fan doesn't pick up at all!). And I am not concerned about leaving it on all the time because it is very energy efficient. This isn't going to blow your socks off. But it is not meant to. For this price ($250 whenever I bought) it is hands down THE best computer there is.Bottom line: If you need a computer for every day tasks such as web browsing, email, media playback, Microsoft Office work, and even light gaming, this is the computer for you. It will fly through these tasks without a hiccup. And with on-board WiFi and bluetooth, there are even fewer cables. Now if you are looking for a top of the line gaming PC, obviously this isn't for you...

Did add 4 GB more of RAM about a week after getting it which reduced the annoying performance to some degree but
I have never rated anything 1 Star before. I am not a complainer. But,,, this computer has been nothing but trouble since day one of receiving it. I don't see others rating it low so I will assume I just got a lemon..!! From day one Proxy Server Not Responding.. lock ups in the middle of something.. Won't allow a start up.. won't allow a Legal Shut Down.. Have to do illegal shut downs then boot back up several times a day just to Shut down.. Etc... etc.. etc..Did add 4 GB more of RAM about a week after getting it which reduced the annoying performance to some degree but.. it still operates doing simply functions at about 80%. This is my first Dell and frankly my last. We have tried to work out problems without returning it but you can only be patient so long before you conclude you got a lemon. Hopefully no others have experienced the annoying and continuous problems we have had. At first I thought it might be Windows 8.1 but we purchased a Toshiba and Asus laptop with Windows 8.1 about the same time and no problems at all on those two computers. I have never had any problems with any of our desktops before this Dell. At this point we get error messages simply trying to connect our printer to this machine.. Still no clue why it won't function..So again.. hopefully others have had a better experience but our Dell isn't so swell..!! Good luck if you purchase.....

Dell fan but wouldn't buy this one again
Died after nine months of use. It has been a good little computer and I can't rule out a power-surge etc although that seems unlikely as the other systems in the house have all been fine. I'm sure on the whole they are fine little computers, but this one is what it is and that's a lemon... Also, it's very unclear what the warranty is. The document provided by the sell simply states it could have a 90 day, 1 year, 2 year or 3 year warranty. That doesn't really help much. It's not worth sending away and being without it, I'll get it sorted, just hate to put money into it so soon and given how little use it's actually had.

50/50 Nice system specs just normal dell tech support.
I can only give 3 stars cause I ordered 2 and 1 worked great the other one has major issues. Bad power supply right from start no problem I run computer shop so I replaced worked for while. Now the motherboard has issues guessing the bad Power supply damaged something. Called there tech support and was giving so much run around I gave up and ordered a small motherboard and just fix myself and sell at cost. Still going to try to get psu replaced but guessing that will be lost cause to.Still as recap the one did work fine once I reinstalled windows 7 that is. As for the other once I get new motherboard guessing it will be fine to.Still have $287 it worth the chance I just should have sent back as soon as I seen PSU was bad. (My own fault on that one)Small update after a ton of hell with tech support (India I am guessing) I got a referb motherboard and bad psu from them. The referb motherboard seems to fixed most of the issues and as for psu they are sending me another one. I have to say they need to train there tech little better or update there how to books. Trying to tell them you cant test a computer that doesnt boot with a bad psu, is like trying to teach a blind man to fly a plane.
