I am a teacher that often has trouble with my voice so these help project my voice saving me from soar throats. Our school uses a Sure sound system but the small microphone that came with the unit was a clip on and did not pick up my voice. This unit is fairly comfortable a works great. They offer 3 connector styles by modle number. Make sure you order the right model number based on the type of connector you have on the "receiver" unit it plugs into. You can view a PDF verson of the schematic online to see which module number you need.

I use this for teaching my jazzercise class. Great quality. Works great and very light weight. Definitely recommend

Edited 2/23/26 The second one I purchased only lasted me a year. Which for me was approximately 350 classes. So, not the 500 classes I got from my first mic. I'm disappointed that I have to repurchase this because I have to get mics that fit the transmitters at the gym I teach at. I'll mention as well that I tried to repair the cord with liquid electrical tape and that did not work. So just a heads up if you think to try that too. Shure said it was still under warranty but I would have to send it back, leaving me without a mic and I teach 5 days of the week. So you basically have to have two on hand in case one goes bad or you have to send one back....sigh. ************************************************************************************ I’ve purchased two of these since 2022. My first Shure mic lasted thru over 500 classes. I am a fitness instructor and sweat like a man. I store the headset in the box it came in and neatly wrap the cord each time. The coating on the cord started to come off exposing the wire so I broke down and bought another. The cord on this one seems more pliable so maybe it’ll last longer. But still the first one got me thru 500 classes!!!

Really a great headset for speaking or singing. I use it for doing wedding ceremonies.

I bought this headset to replace an SM31 I've had for years. The mic sounds great in our sound system. The gain is a little bit lower than the SM31 but I'm able to adjust it. It's been working really well. However, just recently I've started experiencing pops and static crackles. It was beginning to get really annoying and had to switch to my old SM31. From what I read on the SHURE message boards, the WH20 doesn't have the same level sweat protection as the SM31 and the details on the Shure website states its reliable at temperature and humidity extremes. Fits securely for active microphone users, such as aerobics instructors. So if you are a group ex instructor or sweat a lot, although I love the sound quality of the mic, I would not recommend the WH20.

Nice headset for group fitness classes at a very affordable price; clear sound, doesn't pick up stray noise, and stays put on my head. It comes with two windscreens, so you don't have to buy a pack of them when you purchase it. If this is a shared mike, you will want to remove the sweat band around the back, because it's wet and gross by the end of class and the next instructor will not want to touch it.

Good product but do make sure you're clear about the socket your plugging it into!

Good mic, sounds pretty good. Not too uncomfortable when you wear it a lot. I use it for my intercom with a pair of ear hero earpieces for an open ear solution.

works as expected wire frame is fairly rigid, and can get uncomfortable over long use
