Great ignition timing light for the price—you really can’t beat it. It worked exactly as expected. I think most of the negative reviews are from people who either didn’t read the instructions or didn’t follow their vehicle’s service manual step by step when using it. One recommendation: before using it, clean the timing marks on your engine and highlight the correct timing mark for your specific vehicle with a bright paint marker or paint pen. It makes the marks much easier to see and helps ensure an accurate timing adjustment. Overall, it works great. Thank you so much!

This is not a cheap timing light. It is what we call in the world a cost-effective timing light what I purchased it for was to work on a oasis spark ignition I don’t care about the timing light. All I needed for is to connect to the spark plug wires to know whether or not the ignition coil is actually firing a charge to the spark plug once you it lights the light you know that it’s firing and you know the coil or the ignition coil is good and it’s Getting each cylinder is getting the PCM signal to fire. It’s powered by the car battery. Just clip it on the battery 12 V positive negative the light is bright enough that you won’t have a problem day or night if if you’re doing it in the daytime just look at it. It’s not gonna hurt you, but yeah it’s a handy tool for your troubleshooting for us as a car that doesn’t have a timing mark on it as most normal cars due my 2007 Jeep JK doesn’t have a timing mark, but it does use a waste of spark ignition system and this was perfect for trouble troubleshooting my ignition problem.

It works, I was having idle speed issues and neede to verify my timing, for the price can't compline to much, not as bright as my missing old sears / actron, but a lot better than the old timming lights that plugged directly in the spark plug. Easy and quick to hook up, It's a keeper for the old vehicles that still have distributors.

This product is garbage. It actually melted while hooked up to the spark pluck cable. The timing light intermittently worked. It really wasn’t even a one time use. Made very cheaply. But what do you expect for a 22 dollar timing gun.

Great lite for quick timing requirements. Solid construction, ample cord length and bright strobe light .

My initial review was one star and asserted that the inductive pick-up was garbage. The strobe would stop firing above 1,800 RPMs. I was testing this with my 1976 BMW motorcycle with brand new plug wires. I decided to give this another try after re-reading the instructions. I may have had the pickup attached backwards. There's a fairly difficult to see arrow on the pick-up, which should point towards the spark plug. I put that on the right way around in my second attempt and the light now works much better. However, this is still a 3 star product. I find the strobe to be very inconsistent at idle, more consistent as you raise the RPMs. I tested this side by side with an old SnapOn timing light. The SnapOn was super consistent at all RPM ranges. Conclusion: this timing light is "serviceable", but not great. For the price I guess you are getting a decent value. It is pretty hard to get a clear reading at idle though. I would not recommend it.

Für meine Vespa genutzt: Polrad runter, Zündung revidiert und anschließend mit der Blitzlampe den Zündzeitpunkt wieder sauber eingestellt. very good value, does the job - couldn't believe my timing was 45 degs out & the engine still ran - def runs a lot better now ! Def helps if you have a white paint pen / tippex to mark the timing wheel so you can see TDC easier
