17214 ANTI-SEIZE TECHNOLOGY Insulating Varnish, Translucent Red

I used to paint the inside of the engine lifter galley area for oil drain back seems to work OK

It sprayed right onto UNTREATED bare copper 4 Gauge wire perfectly and actually held up to a pretty brutal winding on to an E shaped transformer winding without a proper protective BOBBIN' with only a bit of 4 mil drop plastic cut to fit, I only had 2 small spots that chipped so small I nearly missed them, with one quick blast those were fixed and I had that 220 V.A.C. 40 AMPERES IN AND 220 AMPERES OUTPUT TRANSFORMER FIRING THRU A SIX FULL BRIDGE RECTIFIER HIGH FREQUENCY WELDING MONSTER ABOUT AN HOUR LATER!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely no complaints with the final product here. Sprays really nicely, levels out like glass. Coverage is outstanding thoroughly wetting out the subject of your spray and getting into all the little nooks and crannies. It most certainly is not translucent no matter how lightly you attempt to apply it.It does perfectly replicate the coloring on a 80's BMW Bosch alternator for a concours restoration, so anyone that is super OCD about these things as I am... photos attached!

I’m most pleased with this product. Once the interior of the gearboxes were cleaned, this varnish coated everything quite well. It seems to be very durable. Cleanup should take place shortly after being applied or it could get difficult later. I used paper towels and lacquer thinner.
