Solved my cloudy water problem
I have a ten gallon tank equipped with a Seachem Tidal 35 power filter, a lot of filtration for a small tank. Nevertheless, the Seachem wasn't picking up small particles in the water which were abundant because I have a planted tank with heavy stocking. This little sponge filter made my tank crystal clear overnight. I loaded the media hopper with some Seachem Denitrate to keep my nitrates low and they've stayed at zero. Very pleased with this product.

Design could be slightly better for locking media portion
Place where you put media, there is no locking mechanism so when taking out all media could drop in your tank so need to be careful.The other problem which I had with my airline tube is that my existing air line tube based on their instructions on back, it should be able to insert my tubing thru point no 2 in their diagram and insert to point no 9. I was not able to put my tubing thru point no 2 but I did directly attached to point 9 which is kind of slightly loose. I am not sure whether airline tube comes in different diameter or they are standard.

I bought this for a 5 gal betta tank and it seems to be doing a good job of keeping the tank clean.

Great filter for the money
The media could not be loaded. So at first I didn't like how it bubbled louly, but after I figured out how to use it, I love it!

I purchased 2
I purchased 2 one sideways and the other up and down. The up and down one came broken with a big crack where the washer is unfortunately i have to use this as i dont have time to return it.

Great for the price
This works great for it's price. The sponge was a bit stinky and looks cheaply made, probably won't last long. The chamber that holds the ceramic feels fragile, take care handling it as it probably will crack if twisted too hard. A small pump runs this thing just fine in 20 gallon tank.

Tube not sealing properly
The media could not be loaded. The filter is working very good so far but it started leaking bubbles in the last few days. The washer definitely isn't the best.

An excellent product
Easy to set up and works very well and easily. Good for a 5 gallon tank or less
