Heidi Swapp Minc Reactive Foil 12.25"-Red 10' Roll

This reactive foil works great and leaves a beautiful color behind. This product does what I bought it for.

I bought to use in my Glaminator lamination machine. I always run my projects through the machine at least 3 times. This reactive foil works well and the cost for the amount you get is much better than buying the small 6" rolls.

had bought some other brand foil and it was not good, decided to spend the money on this one and the quality is definitely better.

This foil works with the Minc foil laminator machine to make beautiful foil embellishments for cards and scrapbooking pages. It's a much better deal cost wise than the craft stores.

Don't get me wrong, the product looks great and has a very red shiny foil look but: I was expecting something like aluminum foil that was red. This product is more of a foil looking paper.

I love the rich colors of the Heidi Swapp foils! Plus, there are so many colors to choose from that you'll never run out of ideas on how to use them. I used this foil for handmade Christmas cards and also for some arts and crafts. You can use this reactive foil with any laminator (that gets hot enough) and also with the specific Minc machine (which I also have). It's also cheaper to get it here on Amazon than to go to your local Michael's where they'll run you $9.99 before tax. Also, when using this or any type of reactive foil, make sure to use a laser printer. It's the toner ink that makes it adhere. My only complaint (and the reason it gets only 4 stars) about these is the plastic sticker/tab that seals the foil. It's a PAIN to take off. I even watched a video of Heidi herself trying to take it off and she was struggling a bit too. Whatever you do, please just have some patience and pick it off slowly! If you don't, it will ruin the foil underneath it. Granted it's a small area, but it's placed right in the middle of the sheet and will render that whole section useless. On my very first one, I tried to pry it up using the slim, sharp edge of an exacto knife and that still didn't work. Heidi, if you ever read these reviews...PLEASE use washi tape or some equivalent to seal down the first edge. It would be a life saver!

Ich habe sieben weitere Folien von dieser Marke zu Hause (andere Farben). Diese (rote) Folie hat komplett andere = schlechtere Qualität als meine andere Folien. Verpackung sah aus als ob die schon mal geöffnet war. Die Folie war gegen ausrollen mit einem transparenten Klebepunkt fixiert, was auf diesem Exemplar direkt auf der Folie aufgeklebt war!!! Beim Entfernen (musste die mit den Fingernägel abkratzen) wurde die Folie beschädigt. Meine andere Folien von dieser Marke waren mit einem transparenten (nicht klebenden) Folienstreifen gewickekt und erst dieser Streifen wurde mi Klebepunkten fixiert. So blieb die komplette Folie nach abmachen unbeschädigt. Bei Verwendung hat sich die Folie auch anders verhalten. Die rote Farbe ist partiell abgefallen und beim genauen anschauen sind kleine silberne Punkte zu sehen. …für mich sieht nicht aus als eine originalfolie…oder vielleicht hat der Hersteller bei rot eine schlechtere Qualität produziert (?)
