Cheaply make, but get's the job done.
Cheaply made, but gets the job done. It was this or a $400 Bernina petal. If you bend the metal slightly, it will add variability to the speed.

HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT & MONEY WASTED!!
WARNING TO ANYONE CONSIDERING THIS: It comes with no instructions at all!! I've picked it up at least 5 times now to in the past year in attempt to figure out how to make this work as a replacement to the cheap plastic one that came with my singer. There is no cord with this so I'm assuming I would have to somehow remove something from the original foot pedal to make this work but I don't want to destroy it and be completely without a sewing machine. Unfortunately, I bought this this just over a year ago so I can no longer return it. It's basically a metal shell of a foot pedal with no wiring and no way to connect it to a machine. My understanding when I bought it was that you could just transfer the insides of the original pedal to this new one but it's not possible. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! Unless you're an electrician, this is a huge rip off!

OK for the money. The wife liked the original pedal much better but a replacement was $200. May have to get her one.
