Prosource Fit Natural Cork Yoga Blocks Set of 2 for Support, Balance, and Flexibility

I bought this set of blocks for a practice that helps with my back problems. They have been perfect for my uses and have been serving me solidly for the last month.Pros:- Excellent price (less than the price of a single block made by some of the more popular yoga brands)- Solid construction- Sturdy cork material- Easy to grip- Hefty, but not heavy- The blocks provide great grip that is not slippery at all. They have not chipped, and do not feel like they will do so any time soon. They also do not squish or give to any perceptible degree when you lean your body weight against them.Cons:- Very smelly - When first unwrapped them they had a strong plastic odor, but I set them in a corner of the living room for a few days before I used them and that mitigated the stench just fine.- Not available as I had purchased them - but would recommend ProSource cork blocks in the future if they are anything like the set I purchased.

I am new to yoga. I am also inflexible. I like the idea of yoga, but my first few sessions were nightmarish because I couldn't do (much less maintain) many of the positions. These blocks definitely help me stretch - and I am becoming more limber - and allow me to get into something akin to the various positions. I was worried that the cork would be flimsy as I am 6'5" tall and weigh 230 pounds, but the blocks are solid and relatively heavy. Without these, I'm not sure how long my interest in yoga would have lasted, but for now, they definitely help keep me going back.

These are sturdy and I like the width of these, plus made of a sustainable material. Some blocks are still too high even when laid "flat". Anyway, I would purchase these again if needed, or as a gift.

Purchased as a gift. Glad there are two blocks. Really like the cork. I have a wooden block and it is so heavy to move around. I got these for my husband. We love yoga and practice every day. I think he will like these a lot. They should provide good, sturdy support in the poses without collapsing like the soft blocks do, yet not so heavy as the wooden block.

Best value on Amazon when I bought them. They do shed a minimal amount of material during use which I discovered on my carpet after picking up my mat. At the most, this has caused the corners of the blocks to round slightly but not enough to cause worry that they are disintegrating... just enough to have to vacuum up after.I would purchase these again.

I bought these for doing yin yoga at home. My studio uses cork blocks and recommends them for home use as well. I bought these because they were in my price range, but I don't use them much because I find the edges (especially the corners) to be a bit sharp. It's hard to relax when you've got a sharp block digging into you. I wouldn't buy these again but I think they'd be okay for another style of yoga where you're not laying or sitting fully on the block.

These blocks are a great deal if you're looking for cork. I had bought foam ones from a store near my house but the packaging had a warning stating that the blocks contained chemicals known to cause cancer/birth defects! It freaked me out so I returned them. I looked for cork blocks and they were a little pricey for my taste, so I was delighted to find these. They are firmer and heavier than the Hugger Mugger cork blocks at my yoga studio, but I don't mind because they are a lot cheaper and do the job

I am working out again and I have fallen in love with yoga! Go Dr. Melissa West! She uses cork blocks for quite a few things and so I thought I should get some cork blocks. Although, this is not the brand she uses, the density is there and they are the same size. I love them. They are comfortable, easy to use and are very sturdy.
