Thought these would would and well I'm glad they were in a bag together as they all leaked powder. unless you plan to keep these upright 100% of time, they will lose fine powder. Makeup not in these.I do like the colors but will keep looking.

...and they're *really* adorable! :-|For me, at least! These might be great for liquids / oils*, but for anything dry (like a powder), unless you can be absolutely certain they'll never be flipped upside down, your only two options are a) use the plastic inserts, i.e. have two types of lids to attach / remove every time, or b) accept a certain amount of spillage every time they're opened. Reason being, the screw caps on these don't properly seal around the tops of the vials, like at all -- nothing will come spilling out as long as the caps stay on, but as soon as they're removed you'll find contents all over the threaded outer edges of the vials & the inside edges of the caps, even if they were flipped upside down just once, and briefly, or even just shaken a little bit.*That said, if you're storing oils or other liquids and want to pour them out one drop at a time, the plastic inserts with these might even be ideal, as they leave just a small opening and have an attached piece that plugs to seal it before screwing the cap on (see the fifth picture, bottom right)... but in any other case, for a proper seal, to open / close the vials you'd need to remove / attach both the screw top *and* plastic inserts every time, which feels kinda silly & easily avoidable.TL;DR: If you specifically want the additional plastic inserts these come with, buy these! Otherwise, add "leak-proof" to your search terms to find some better options.Happy teeny-tiny vial...ing(?)!! :)

I used this to put in a travel altar and they leaked everywhere. Every single one of them.

These are adorable and I love love love the colors. I needed small glass containers for samples. You could use them for cosmetics that you only need a few drops of over a weekend. they work well. The tops fit well and it brings a happy feeling to use them with thier wonderful colors.
