HUGE Portion
I like this theater style popcorn. The ability to control the salt is a plus. I use only half of the salt per serving or less. The kernels pop up very big and makes standing over the stove for 5 minutes worth the wait. I use a Whirly Pop on a gas stove at medium high temperature. Heads up: If you allow the popcorn to breathe by opening the lid half way through the popping, it releases some (minor) steam moisture. This results in a fluffier lighter result. ALL but a few of the kernels pop and this is so much better than microwave popcorn. Highly recommended!!!Pros: great taste, salt controlCons: takes 5 minutes to cook on stove (a fair trade off for a great result IMO)

Love this product!
I love popcorn so I thought I would try these single serve, everything included packets. First time was great, made it in my popcorn pot on the stove. But then I thought, wouldn’t this be so much easier in the microwave. So I used another great product on Amazon, the HOTPOP microwave popper. Together this popcorn was magical. Fresh, every kernel popped, every kernel salted perfectly and lightly coated with delicious coconut popping oil. Make a perfect serving for one, or two if you have someone to share it with.

The whirly pop hasn't changed at all and it's exactly as I remember.I owned a whirly popcorn over 30 years ago.

After a long popcorn hunt…
This is by far the best! I’ve tried over 5 kinds of popcorn before Franklins and this one is our favorite. We got a popcorn machine for our home theater in 2020 and started the hunt for the best popcorn. I didn’t think it was going to be hard- all popcorn has to taste relatively the same … right?? Wrong. The first few we tried the texture was too chewy- we almost gave up hope until we tried delicious Franklins! We will never order another kind now that we know how amazing this brand is.

Easy to make
I have been purchasing Franklin Gourmet popcorn for 5-6 years, using 3 different theatre type popcorn poppers. The last 2 orders have not cooked as well as previous orders. There are more unpopped kernels than ever. I purchased a new popper, thinking that it was the problem but the corn was still not as good as previous years.

High quality product; very popular
I do concessions for certain events through out the year and use a smaller popper when event arent'-so-big.This stuff sold old. It caught me by surprise how good this was going to be.

Not the best, but good
I've had better, but this is good and easy in my Whirley-Pop popper.

Good popcorn, but much too salty
Let me get this out of the way up front: I'm a guy who likes salt. Friends are sometimes surprised by how much salt I like on my food. So keep that in mind as you read the following.I bought this popcorn to use in a commercial 8oz-kettle popcorn machine that I use to make popcorn for my home theater. I used to use MegaPop, but for the past year, their popcorn has been popping up chewy and tough. So, I started looking at alternatives. I'm happy to say that the batch of Franklin's that I bought pops up well, and is crispy and satisfying. My only complaint is that if you use the entire contents of the pre-measured pack, it is *far* too salty. Fortunately, the salt/flavor powder is in a separate little section of the pouch, so it's possible to open that section first, pour the powder out, and then use only a portion of it when making the popcorn. I reduced the salt powder portion by about 1/3 (estimated by eye), and that seemed to produce good results.Of course, this is inconvenient compared to just dumping the entire pack into the kettle, so I will likely keep looking to see if I can find a brand that pops up as well as the Franklin's, but does not require the fussy measuring.
