I have been using about 4 days and it is working!!! I live in apartments and when it started to get hot I started to notice bugs coming in through the wall I had professionals come and spray, didn't even help at all. I tried liqid poison, powder poison, nothing helped and I have a cat and a child so I was worried these would hurt them! Then I remembered a friend of mine had some similar things in his house so I got online to find some. This product had the best price for a six pack plus they were the nicest looking ones so I ordered them. Only 4 days and instead of turning on the kitchen or bathroom light and seeing20 to 30 bugs scatter I have seen 2 bugs this morning, also the two o saw were slow and easy to kill like they were confused! So id say this is a great produ t that works really well and is a great price!!!

First of all these are nice little units. Two buttons on the left side to control the night light and one to control the frequency. I cannot hear the frequency when it is on green or blue. But the red, which is what I bought it for because I saw a rat scurry under my dishwasher. It came thru a hole where plumbing is. And I need to get it fixed. Anyways, you CAN hear the frequency when it is in the red mode. It's a high pitched sound and very annoying. There is no way I can keep it in that mode. In my kitchen, which is right next to dining room and living room. No way. And I do not know how it will affect my dog. The company claims it is inaudible to humans and animals. That is not true. You can hear it. I will put one in my shed, because I will not be able to hear it. And put one on my covered back deck.. I will keep the others in green mode to repeal spiders and such. I will update later as to the efficacy of this product. And as for the sellers, they need to change their product description.

These came with improper instructions and I had to get back on amazon and read what the lights did in the photos instead of the instructions it came with.I have Sensory Integretion and chose this device because it said that the ultrasonic sound was quiet and wouldn’t be heard by children and wouldn’t damage women who are pregnant. With sensory integretion it means I pick up frequencies most adults don’t. This one is rather painful to hear. Those around me with normal hearing can hear it as well, but say it’s mostly just annoying.

I ordered these because they were cheap. I returned them because they are cheap. First, you have to set the frequency for which type of pest you want to repel, which is easy enough, but you can only set it for one frequency. So if you have mice, spiders, and mosquitoes in one area, you would either have to choose which type of pest bothers you the most or plug three of these things in. Secondly, they are only ultrasonic on one setting. If you want to get rid of mice or spiders, you're going to have tolerate a high pitched whine, like artificial tinnitus. I opted for some that cost slightly more, that I can't hear, and they repel everything everything except my husband's ex-wife....still shopping for something that can do that.

I literally just got them so as for the effectiveness, I can’t speak to that, but the noise is unbearable. It emits three different noises, one for each light. The mosquito and moth one I can’t hear, but the insect and rodent one is HORRIBLE. I just moved from the north to the south and needed a break from the insects. Saddened that I don’t think this is a practical solution for me after all.Update: I had to move the product outside because I couldn’t stand the sound, but I haven’t seen a giant millipede since install (as of October 12) and one cockroach has made it in. I can live with that, still can’t live with the noise.

I received the product and I was very skeptical if it would work or not. I live in Florida the BUG CAPITAL of the USA! I have had an issue with roaches in my garage, they love to eat any type of glue or adhesive, many folks don't know this!I am extremely clean and organized so I know when roaches are present in any area of my home. Especially in Florida you know there are roaches present by the black droppings they leave or they will smear it on your wall, kind of wiping their nasty little butts I guess, JUST NASTY!The box arrived well packed and the product seems to work with 3 different frequencies. The problem is the directions say a RED light for rodents at (9-15 K HZ) frequency, a YELLOW light for cockroaches, ants, spiders, crickets, and bugs this frequency is (15-25K HZ), and finally the GREEN light for mosquitoes, moths, flies, and so on. You can definitely hear the difference in the frequencies with red being the highest. Problem is NO YELLOW LIGHT! WTF It's f-cken BLUE! I guess they mean BLUE is the new YELLOW! LOL You can see from the photos the confusion with the lights it is the very small light in the middle and again NO YELLOW!Don't know if this will work or not but for $10 bucks it's worth a try. I don't like using pest control in my home but will use it in the garage! To bad there is no way to post 6 months from now to tell you all if it truly works or not! GOOD LUCK IF YOU BUY!

The instructions suck but I bought it for mouse control because I seen a mouse. When I put it on the red it’s Excruciating painfully ringing that obviously cannot stay plugged up. Hopefully I’m doing it wrong but the green and blue are silent but that’s not the one I need

The price was right but they're just green night lights because that's the only setting that does not emits an audible sound. The blue i can hear and the red is downright obnoxiously loud. Pi**ed me off cuz I wanted these to repel larger pests. So I set some on blue in rooms that I'm not in much like closet & garage. And green everywhere else. Wld not order again. Total scam.
