This is built very well. Holds my chisel perfectly while protecting my tool pouch. Tool fits in it like a glove. Honestly I thought it would be bulky and get in the way a lot but quite the opposite. Barely notice its there. The clip on the back despite being plastic holds extremely well. Very easy to use and highly recommend for sharp tools.

Great sheath for your beater job site chisel. Clips securely onto a belt, in a tool pouch, or an apron pocket. Enough room on the sides to squeeze in a pencil, marking knife, or other narrow tool. My chisel gets squeezed at the top, keeping it secured. Hasnt fallen out once. Clip is secure as well. Takes one hand on clip and the other on the sheath to remove it from a dirty apron.

This holder is a bit bulky, probably so it can fit a variety of tools. It is fine for a construction chisel with a fat plastic handle. A fixed-blade utility knife will probably fall out.

Another sturdy, well conceived product from Occidental. Stays put when attached as designed. Will add mileage to your toolbag investment and save sharp tools from wearing out the bottoms of your bags. I don't know about other knives, but the Lenox utility knife locks into this thing with a positive "click" (Think Glock) and stays put until you retrieve it.This product will work with any tool pouch/bag and is easily worth the money. It worked perfectly for about 2-3 months then the chisel had gone through and maybe another month later the clip became loose enough that it doesn't even hold onto my belt anymore.

Not as big as I thought

First day of using the clip broke already, I expected to be good quality turn out it’s not. Can’t return bcuz it’s pass 30 days already and it was preordered took like 1month to be delivered and also delivered late for week and I forgot that is styll coming got it on Jan18 but I could not use it bcuz I was away for school now when home to get cuz it march break used it at work then it freak broke the clip!!
