The Most Annoying Robots in the Universe (1)

Written by my then 4th grader (overdue in posting): I really love Mr. Jay's books! They are funny and have great drawings! They make me laugh! My friend loved it too! Get this book!

My 6 year old son is loving this book as a read aloud. I think it would be a perfect book for a kiddo to be able to read by themselves in 2nd grade if they are a typical reader! It’s funny and he loves the pictures.

We got this book in our Prime Book Box. My just becoming confident 2nd grade reader read it start to finish the minute the box was opened and big brother nearly fought him to read it. As soon as he was finished, he asked if there were others in the series and was DELIGHTED to find out 2 others were already published. Since the library didn't have them yet, he asked if we could purchase them. Of course! He's a very happy reader of the series and giggled throughout his reading. Even came to read parts to me. I'm a very happy mama.

So far so good. My grandson hates reading and he is finding these engaging. So far I am reading to him and then have him read part to me that I know he can handle. Some of the bigger words and story line seem repetitive enough with the Images to give him confidence. He hates reading anything that looks like a bigger word or chapter book so this is a good bridge between easier books and books with more.pages. The robots are funny and the story is fun for a child. Some pages have no words to just a couple words or they may have a few sentences per page. My hope is to read it fully to him then have him work on reading it to me.

I bought the first two in this series for my 6 year old grandson. The stories are cute and clever and perfectly tailored to a space-crazy 6-year old boy's imagination. We now own the first 4 in the series, the 5th and 6th have been ordered and 7 & 8 are on pre-order status. The author must be keyed in on a 6 year old's sense of humor because my grandson thinks they are hilarious and loves the stories. If I could change one thing, I would make the pictures color instead of black and white, but that does not seem to bother him at all.

I bought this book for my son. I thought it would be a little shorter than it was, but it was absolutely perfect. My son has probably read the book 20 times since I bought it. He thinks it's hilarious, has told several other kids about it. It was a great purchase.

The "Bots" series are a fun and delightful read and the illustrations tell their own stories as well!

I ordered this book for my grandson because he loves books and robots. The book is really cute and I think he will enjoy it BUT THE INFLATED PRICE is not so cute. Price on the book cover is $5.99 (US) but the seller charged $15.01 (US) and it’s my fault I overpaid because I did not do my usual research on prices.
