I needed to replace broken screen. This is doable with good vision, manual dexterity, patience and good lighting BUT it does require fully disassembling the phone. I didn't mind this as I enjoyed the learning process. Next time it will be much easier. My big complaint is that once I went through the painstaking process of disassembling and reassembling, my power and volume button no longer seemed to function, so after all that, I couldn't turn my phone on. I didnt realize that I also needed to order a new power/volume button flex cable strip. After I figured out what was missing I disassembled the phone again and cracked the brand new screen in the process! Ugh. Removing the old strip and moving it really is near impossible. Super thin and very securely glued down. I tried because, what the heck, as this point why not!?So, this kit is good...(although I broke the pry tool almost immediately), but I'd call it incomplete if you expect it to get you back up and running.I hope this info is helpful for others so they wont run into the delay that I am dealing with.

I am totally disappointed. Compared to the original screen, it does not absolutely resist a single drop so that it is already damaged. Now i have to search for a new one!!!

I was able to search for Huawei Mate SE screen replacement and follow along and replace the broken screen on my phone. I'm glad i got the LCD screen replacement with the frame, I wasn't able to remove the battery without prying the old frame away from it to put on the new phone. It took me about 3 hours to complete cause i kept having to pause and restart the video for disassembly and assembly. The included tools were "basic". I got them to work but a professional kit with magnetic screwdrivers and sturdier pry tools would have made the job easier. The hardest part was prying away the old screen after removing the initial two screens on the bottom. It's definitely do-able and you don't have to be a professional to make it happen. Your phone is broken already, why not try fixing it before you put down a few hundred dollars on a new phone.

Surprisingly this actually does include the entire chassis of the phone, so you just have to move the electronics, battery, and back plate over from the old phone. Only thing that's a bit perilous is removing the power/volume button strip over from the old phone because it's very thin and glued down well.
