Awesome mouse.
The best mouse I’ve ever owned. And I’ve had a handful. The battery last very very long time. It’s comfortable. Just enough buttons. The removable magnetic side pieces are awesome. Great quality. I love it. Don’t worry about these bad reviews. Buy it and don’t look back.

Great mouse!
By default comes with 7 buttons, but it's really nice feel mouse, and now matches my Omen keyboard, personally I like it a lot, responsive, good battery life, I just dislike the Omen app, but that's another subject, but the mouse itself, is really good!

This Wireless Mouse Killed My Battery Anxiety (and Won Me Some Games)
Let me start by saying I'm a total wireless mouse convert, and this HP Photon just upped the game. It's got this crazy fast click response time, like my fingers are speaking the language of the game. Plus, no more wires snagging on my keyboard or desk plants (RIP fern, never forget).Speaking of dead things, this mouse is the Energizer Bunny of the rodent world. The Qi wireless charging is a game-changer. I just plop it on my charging pad when I'm done for the day, and it's always juiced up for the next raid or ranked climb. Seriously, it's saved me from those frantic hunts for the charging cable in the middle of an intense match more times than I can count. If you're looking for a wireless mouse that's as quick as it is convenient, this HP Photon is definitely worth checking out. It's helped me level up my game (and keep my fern-killing tendencies in check), so five stars all the way!

Horrible DPI issue in Wireless (FIXED)
I don't know if this is a localized problem that only involves me, but my mouse will randomly set it's DPI to the lowest setting and won't let me change it (Even in the Omen Command Center software) so I wouldn't recommend this to E-sport gamers unless you are okay with using the lowest DPI setting on this mouse. The only way to fix it is to reach behind my computer, plug in the micro USB cable, and connect it with a cable. This is really inconvenient because I use my desk's built-in USB ports to charge the mouse and my computer's ports are all on the back of it except for 2, one for the wireless receiver for this mouse and one for my Omen Headset. This is really frustrating for the price, but all I use my setup for is for video editing and light gaming so it doesn't really harm me that much. This happens twice or even three times a day for me, so now I've gotten used to charging my mouse on the floor at night so I can leave the cable back there. The mouse is really comfortable, I don't even think about me holding it half the time. And while I don't need the ambidextrous stuff, I do appreciate the engineering involved and the magnets are a blast to fidget with. The materials are pretty good, the mouse feels heavy but glides fast and without much force. The RGB is limited with the bad Omen software, but this could change with future updates to the Command center so keep that in mind. (Written 2/8/20) The mouse connects to the computer on boot almost instantly, way faster than my Omen Sequencer keyboard which is wired. The latency is not even noticeable, even when I play Overwatch and other Esport games on occasion I never felt latency.I really want to recommend this mouse, and I own so many Omen products, but I can't because of that stupid bug. Maybe just update the firmware, after all the MicroUSB can carry data so just make me plug my mouse in like usual and install some new firmware to fix it. For 120 bucks, I expected a mouse that would at least be somewhat reliable but this thing really disappoints.Edit (3/14/20):So, another month has passed, and I think the issues are pretty much gone. I don't know how, but honestly, I don't care I'm just glad the mouse is back to normal. Now, the mouse is easier to recommend, but I still have some gripes with it that have developed over time.New pros:-The battery life is great, considering the RGB. I get around a week of 3-6 hour use of it on a charge.-The mouse stays clean, even with abuse; I eat food at my desk to save time a lot, and I have noticed that my mouse is much cleaner than my keyboard even though I use it way more. I do clean my keyboard, but not my mouse so it's kind of scary how clean it is.-The DPI issues have stopped for a good while now, so that's good.New Cons:-When wireless charging, I find it difficult to find the sweet spot to charge. I end up spending like a full 30 seconds shifting it around to find that perfect spot where it charges and if you nudge it it stops.-When charging wirelessly or wired from a wall outlet, the RGB stays on even after hours have passed without movement. (The RGB is really bright at night with no other lights on)-This is a nitpick, but it bothers me a little so I thought I would mention it; the scroll wheel sounds different scrolling up rather than down where it is much louder scrolling up.EDIT: (5/02/20)The mouse got a firmware update, it probably fixed the issues I was experiencing. However, now a hardware issue has arisen. I lost one of the magnetic pieces of the mouse and now there's a big gap in the side. Keep in mind while purchasing that there are no extra magnetic pieces included.

Great general-purpose mouse
So far so good. Excellent accuracy and positioning. I initially had reservations about the weight, but turns out it not an issue. Software is easy to use to set up lighting and customize buttons.

Several configurations, software is easy to use
I use the default config for 9 of the 11 buttons and added the two on the other side for custom macros. I have a QI mouse pad and it works great with that. If I were to change one thing it would be the distance between the DPI buttons. I click them together too often.

OMEN Photon Mouse has phenomenal battery life!
I am so glad to have chose this mouse instead of the Razer Basilisk. The ambidextrous design is well thought out. My hand sits comfortably on it and even after extensive use. It also charges quick and the battery lasts me for around 4 days of a couple of hours of usage each day. I primarily use this mouse for general usage than gaming.I would definitely recommend this mouse to everyone (non-gamers included).

VERY Buggy.
I started having issues with the mouse out of the box. It started as minor cosmetic issues (I would select what color I'd like the OMEN logo to be from within the command center, and it would last no more from 5-10 minutes before it would chose which color to be on its own)... about a month into having the mouse the real issues started. Seemingly out of nowhere, the actual functionality of the mouse goes down the drain. Sometimes it's the right-click function, sometimes it's the left-click, sometimes the scroll wheel will not work, and the DPI of the mouse will randomly be reduced a significant amount to the point where I can't play with it.
