Can it be assembled “left handed”?

I'm not sure what you mean by left handed but I can tell you that this bench is solid. It comes in 3 pieces and all three pieces should be carried by two people to be safe.

This item comes in three parts, two legs and a top. As long as the location is level and/or has a solid base it is able to be installed without any special tools. The item weighs combined 400lbs. Thank you,
