At the time of purchase, these were under $1 each, which is a better deal than 3" terracotta at the big box home improvement store. The drain hole is a bit too small for my cactus plants, so I used some mason drill bits to open them up. Make sure you drill from the top, rather, from the inside. You'll blow out some material on the other side and these have a slope around the hole at the bottom, that helps protect it from blowouts (blowout meaning chipping when the drill punches through the hole, exit wound stuff).

I am using them as olla for my newly planted seeds. I sow the seeds on nursery bags and place them in a plastic pan with felt at the bottom. I then place one clay pot with water and covered with a plastic pot plate on top. The clay pot, although small, is able to "water" my seedlings just right. No more damping off! I also used them with the other plants that are not yet ready for planting in the ground. The clay pots are sturdy and well made. They are also affordable.

UPDATE: i’ve now had these plants in these pots for several months and they’re doing great. they’re growing beautifully. no issues at all.ORIGINAL: Exactly as described. These seem like well-made clay pots. Perfectly sized for my succulent props in 2” pots to move to, as well as my props in my tray. They’re the correct (mentioned) measurements. There’s a drainage hole. They came packaged very well, none were broken or even cracked. I really appreciate that. It’s always nerve racking to order pots like these.10/10, would recommend (already have sent this to a few friends in plant groups on social media).

These pots came on time and I was worried they might break in transit, but they were beautifully packaged and well protected. These pots are just the right size for my preschoolers to decorate for a family gift. I would buy these again next year and definitely recommend them!!
