Got this iron to replace a brilliant steam iron that had given up the ghost.I was hugely surprised the first time I used it - it steamed better than the old one and with auto temperature control, less stuff to fiddle with. It emits so much steam on Eco seting that I have not needed to use the Turbo function. The windows steamed up on the inside when I did the bedding.It removes creases pretty well and is fairly lightweight too.Problem for my large hands is that I can catch the light switch and put the light on occasionally. also the trigger for the jet of steam function is under the handle at the front, so you can't get your hand as far forward as I would ideally do.Overall though, I can see why this is so pricey, it is a really good steam iron.

Does exactly what it says. No need to change temperatures anymore. Superb soleplate with very smooth action. Not too heavy either (it's the heat not the weight that irons clothes). Big advantage is the cord that is long enough to go the length of a board.Very good directional water spray if you ever need it. Even a switchable light if you can't see creases easily. Well made. Well designed. Works on a huge range of fabrics.

I wanted an iron that was easy to use and made ironing less cumbersome. This iron is a step up from traditional steam irons, with a few added features- intellitemp, eco steam as well as having traditional features such as water spray nozzle steam trigger.The only problem I have is the eco steam button keeps turning itself off. I’m not sure if this a manufacturing problem or accidentally turned on by myself. However, not a major issue for me.

I’ve been using this iron now for just under a month. In general I dislike this job but this iron has some features that make the task a bit easier including a longer lead so no need for an extension lead and you don’t have to keep adjusting the temperature as it has an automatic temperature adjustment feature.I gave it 4/5 because it doesnt come with a base would be more convenient for me safer around kids if it did

I bought this pressing iron for my wife in November, 2021 without having any knowledge of its performance.I bought it because the brand is quite popular and you can't go wrong on such purchases associated with long history of existence.The item came right on time as scheduled and very pleased with its beauty and robustness. I'm even more pleased with the functionality. Its well crafted, functions excellently well and beyond my expectation. The steam flow is great without spilling a drop of water on my clothes. The steam only flows when ironing and cuts off when the iron is idle in vertical position. The ironing quality is superb without any signs of burn. It also offers great conform and does the job much quicker than expected.It gives a pleasant ironing experience such that I have to re-buy the iron but this time for myself.Its a great buy and will recommend it again and again.

Thumbs up 👍for this steam iron. As I have never used an intellitemp iron before, I was really rather nervous, but it performed very well. For cotton things like handkerchieves, a light water spray helps and avoids over use of the Turbo boost. I did not have a problem seeing the water level in the tank, and there was no leakage. Eco steam was good, and used no more water than my previous iron. Good weight and not too heavy for me. Very long cord which I have rated as 5* as not having to use an extension lead is an advantage, but the length could be a problem. Fortunately, I salvaged the cord grip/guide from my previous iron (make withheld to protect identity!) so it works just fine. I am glad that this iron is a success - I used to test the sole plates at the local MR factory in my college vacs a long time ago! 😊

I’ve always liked ironing - creating a crumpled pile into nice smooth tidy clothes etc. in 50 odd years of ironing though I have never raved about an iron before! The cord is lovely & long, the steam just keeps on steaming & it glides effortlessly over the garments - even denim ends up crease free. Best of all though is that it’s magic! It must be. How else can it iron said denim one minute & the next delicate underwear without scorching or melting it? I have no idea how this works I just love it & can’t recommend it enough.

Great iron. Easy glide soleplate no drag at all like the ceramic soleplate on other irons. The steam is amazing too. I like to have a sauna whilst I’m ironing. Great cord length too. I’m going to buy another one because I’ve tried “a lot” of irons before I found the new love of my life.
