I have used a variety of spray bottles over the nearly 50 years I have been gardening. The less expensive (and SprayMaster is considerably more in price) sprayers usually give out in one or two seasons. Some are made of such cheap plastic that the neck gets weak and even cracks. Another brand has faulty pumps that fail within a few months. I have had the current SprayMaster bottles somewhat over five years and none have failed. They are filled with herbicide and pesticide year round. From time-to-time I do clean the "intake" as well as the head of the sprayer but other than that there have been absolutely no problems. I have one that I have used exclusively for brick/concrete sealant. Because of the sealant formula I do rinse out the bottle and sprayer with soap and water after each use to prevent clogging and have no issues. These are the best sprayers I have used and clearly are the most cost effective.... at least for my kind of use.

I've used a lot of different spray bottles over the years and these are the only ones that appear to be resistant to breaking down due to the effects of a wide variety of chemicals. I thought I had finally found a chemical they weren't resistant to (an enzyme-based pet odor cleaner), which caused a bottle I purchased two years ago to fail after about a month, but apparently, Spray Master has improved an already excellent product and my new bottle is still spraying reliably after over two months of use. I use, or have used, these for everything: Pine-Sol, undiluted Round-up (for stump treating) and every other chemical or medication that I use around the farm or the house. Every once in a while I run out of them and have to buy another brand, and I ALWAYS regret it.

Augh! I should've read the reviews here. We'd been buying these bottles at Lowe's forever! But they ran out, I got desperate, and figured - just get 'em at Amazon! But I'm learning that sometimes defective things end up sold HERE - yes like the discount outlets where you buy with your eyes wide open! Turns out that a silly, generic spray bottle is NOT the same, despite its having the same brand name. NOT ONE OF these 3 bottles works to my satisfaction. We filled them up with countertop cleaner, SimpleGreen and Clorox liquid cleaner. ALL of them splutter in a messy fashion: all over your hand, a giant, unfocused SPLAT! in the direction you aim them. Just a mess everywhere. Now I'm going to have to throw these away and go buy ALL the original cleaning products in their own containers again. I'm very irked, but not inclined to empty out, rinse, re-pack and send them back to the vendor. DO NOT BUY THESE. They are defective.

I buy these for use with weed killers, bleach solutions, etc. The weed killer (citric acid) in particular tends to ruin basic spray bottles and even cheaper sprayers designed for lawn products. These are tough enough to take a lot of abuse (i.e. drops) and they don't break down from chemicals, or at least the ones I use. They have a spot to label the contents. The spray adjustment is pretty good, too, which is handy for various weed-killing scenarios (wide coverage vs. killing individual weeds in pavement cracks). I have a lot of these around the house (which is why the contents label is so important!).

Good quality if you have solvent based cleaners/chemicals. Doesn't leak, spray quality is good even after several uses. Lid stays on unlike cheaper bottles I've bought. Would definitely buy these again.

When it comes to sprayers, you get what you pay for. I now have five of these that I use for general garden and household liquids. These sprayers, unlike the kind you purchase at drug stores or big box stores just keep working, no matter what you put in the bottle. They're virtually bulletproof. The adjustable spray pattern is also a cut above the average. If you're looking for a high-quality sprayer, you won't be disappointed with a SprayMaster. They cost more initially, but far less in the long run.

These are actually the best bottles, however out of the 3 that I bought one of them does not work. Something wrong with the nozzle and bottle does not spray right!

Ive owned several of these brand sprayers for years. Decided to replace a few so I purchased 3 of these. Same size and same brand as my older sprayers. These are trash. They leak so heavily that when you spray them a few times your fingers, hands and wrists get soaked within seconds. Leaks very very heavily from the spray head. And avoid this seller, they charge you return shipping.
