My 25+ year old aluminum bundt pan lost it's non-stick resilience and my traditional lightweight two-piece angel food pan was becoming quite a chore to grease/flour - with the added risk of leakage, hence my search for pans to replace one -or- both of them. This NORDIC WARE POUND CAKE PAN is the PERFECT ONE to serve both purposes! The size is tremendous at 18+ cup capacity. It accommodates a 1.5 batch Jewish Apple Cake and bakes it to perfection without a dripping mess of batter cascading over and down the sides! And when time to remove the cake from the pan, I need not have fretted, for the beautifully browned cake slid right from the pan without issue. (And the pan was a breeze to clean, too.) I get compliments all of the time on the appearance of my cakes, especially my sister who always exclaims, "How do you get your cakes to rise to such great heights?". (NOTE: I usually increase my cake recipes to 1.5 to accommodate big appetites and/or more guests. I guess it makes it visually appealing as well.) The weight of the pan IS substantial (mid weight), but no where near the weight of cast iron pans. It's certainly not too heavy for this 50+ year old to wield, especially in light of the wonderful culinary results obtained. The only caveat of this pan for me has been the discovery that this pan is about 1/4 inch taller than my old angel food pan, thus requiring me to do some "rearranging" within the cabinets, however the trade off is negligible -- plus I gained horizontal space as I now use this NORDIC WARE pan for both bundt and angel food cakes. Gee, I never thought I'd LOVE a cake pan... but THIS ONE's the bomb! Aug 2023 UPDATE: This pan is STILL going strong 7 years later. I am so enamored with it, I've purchased additional ones as gifts -AND- I even purchased a new NORDIC WARE MINI POPOVER PAN this year to replace one that lost its function. WOW... it, too is a DREAM to bake with. BOTH are quality baking products! Wish I had discovered NORDIC WARE sooner.

Wonderful. Truly non-stick. My husband uses the pan for baking bread and it’s a delight. The bread slides out easily without any need to use a knife around the edges. Wish we had gotten this sooner.

Really nice cast fluted cake pan. Bought this for angelfood cakes mostly. Still have to cool cakes upside down on a heat resistant post or bottle because cake still bakes an inch or so above the top lip of the pan. Cooled cake comes out easy enough, but if you wanted to bake regular non-angel food cakes that tolerate greasing the pan, you could also do that. I like that it’s one piece and very sturdy. Weight of the metal seems to help even out baking/browing. I use a serrated nylon “knife” to loosen around the perimeter to be sure baked cake comes out clean without damaging the nonstick surface. Pan works great. Recommend.

Great pan… no sticking but does cook a little faster because of its darker color. The handles are a great assist in turning cakes out of the pan.

I only received the goods today. Purchased on May 12th, today on the 26th. The product looks good.

It took about 3 weeks to reach Sweden as it was shipped from US. But the wait was worth it. Very good cakepan, non stick and extremely high quality. This is the kind of pan (quality wise) that my parents bought 30 years ago. I didn't know I could find such today, and Nordic Ware provided that. I recommend the pan to anyone who wants to bake a cake to perfection without having to worry about your cake sticking on the pan.
