No! this product does not heave up. I live in the tropics. this is the second time I am purchasing this product. purchase the first one about 3 yrs ago and it is holding up great.

Can this product be cut to fit space?

Yes, but use something very sharp to cut it so the edge is smooth.

what material are these made from?

It looks like the brown boards for patio decking, which is made from a mixture of wood and recycled plastic. The label says "Made with post-consumer recycled plastic. Recipient of the United Nations Environmental Programme Award." "Crafted by American workers since 1966" (Programme is spelled that way on the label.)

I am using this to make a ring around my roses for retaining water. What is the best cutting device to use?

Hi- I used a snips or shears to cut the terrace board, but you could probaly use a strong, sturdy scissors as well.
