Magnifying Make up Eyeglasses, 3X Magnification, Single Lens, Flip-able Each Side Cosmetic Application

For those of us who cannot see without glasses and being able to work on each eye individually is great.It frees up your hands from having to hold a magnifier mirror and you can use the normal mirror in your bathroom.

The lense broke off right after taking it out the package. All my mother did was flip the lense down and it fell off. Unit was returned very disappointing.Also with her eye site she still could see out the lense.

Not bad considering its purpose. Each lens folds down completely to allow you to apply makeup with one eye clear. It's a good gimmick that is helpful, although the glasses themselves are cheaply made.

These did not work for me at all. First, you are using your fingers to pull the lens down and so it gets smeary with your fingerprints; then trying to put eye liner on is very awkward. You have to keep tilting it and also trying to get it by going under the lens, it just didn't work for me. I ended up just going back to my old way of doing it by squinting a lot and using a magnified mirror.

They make it so much easier to apply eye makeup without the constant on and off of my regular glasses

Probably works well fpr most people. For me, hard to keep from smudging, which defeats the purpose. I just arrived at the point of needing a little help seeing to do my makeup. Might be better if lens swung out like a door, rather than down. I think the ones that have a single lens that flips from side to side is probably a better option, especially for unsteady hands like mine.

The left front lens would not stay up so I e-mailed them for a replacement. When she wrote me back, she had refunded me my money. So even though they went in to the garbage (they were not usable in this condition). I had tried to tighten the screw, etc and nothing worked, or I would have kept them. They are a great deal, if they are in working condition. I am still thinking about buying another pair. I did look at others, but they didn't open as far as this pair to allow you to work on the lower portion of your eye (mascara, eye liner, etc).

Could not do my eye makeup without them.
