💦 Beat the Heat in Style!
The Fan Ring is a versatile misting attachment that easily converts your outdoor fan into a cooling oasis. With a 6-foot lead line and four durable brass/stainless steel nozzles, it connects seamlessly to standard garden hoses or spigots, designed to operate efficiently at household water pressures of 60-80 PSI.

Works Ok, mist not fine as it could be and clips only work on certain size fan grilles ! Misty Mate vs Misty Mist Comparison.
Bought this Misty Mate and a Misty Mist. Here is a comparison:Both Misters:Offer a nice Mist but not superfine. I had my faucet completely open, had it installed on a 16" oscillating Hurricane fan and there was mist out to about 15 feet and cools out to 20 feet. 10-20 feet is ideal place to be. It drops the temperature maybe 10 degrees. At 5 feet you will get wet. Farther than 15 feet there is no effect.Misty Mate (This one)No assembly required (nozzles installed and ring formed)Comes with a quick release fitting with an on/off valve and a coarse filter which does not leak.Pressure clips to easily clip on/off the fan grill are garbage! They did not fit into my fine grill on my Hurricane fan and they were too big for my Lasco fan. Each box is supposed to include two hose clamps to neatly run your hose down your fans pole. I bought two Misty Mates and one box had one of these clamps and the second box did not have any!Misty MistTakes more time to assemble but pretty easyIt leaks from the hose connection. Could not get it to stop leaking even with a wrench!Has zip ties which are hard to thread in an out of the fan grille but they workMisty MistRated 2 stars and will be returned to AMAZON for a refundMisty MateRated 3 stars. I will keep and will buy some finer misters .006mm and use zip ties instead of those horrible clips.

MISTY MATE Fan Ring dissapointment
When I received my Misty Mate Fan Ring I had a number of problems and many of them could have been caused by Amazon but I am not sure who should take the blame. Amazon told me the product would be delivered on Monday but was delivered on Sunday unexpectedly and at first I was excited to have it early. The product came unsealed in a sealed Amazon container. The Fan ring was supposed to have 4 mounting clips and it only had 3, also 2 hose clamps but it only had 1. The brass and stainless steel nozzles were already attached as if some one maybe purchased and returned it (the instructions say to attach them after receipt). I improvised the attachment after buying a $120.00 outdoor fan and again was excited to use. The product then had an extremely short attached hose to reach the water outlet making positioning very difficult to use in the 115 degree temperature outside. The attachment of the hose to the ring also leaks. I sent a message 2 days ago to mistymate.com and did not receive any reply to all of these concerns

Lots of mist to keep you cool (and a little drenched :-)
I've got a large portable MasterCooler on wheels which works great on the patio/garage where I can easily roll it, but I wanted something for my daughter while she is on the trampoline or for me working in the yard. Here in Phoenix AZ you need some area cooling if you're going to do anything outdoors in the summer. The little Misty Mate works great. I wasn't sure a smaller 4 nozzle ring would be sufficient, but it is more than enough. In fact, any more and you'd be taking a bath getting near this thing :-) I clipped it on my 20" floor fan, and boy does it work well. It throws a nice cool mist breeze on you that you can feel from 30' away. Note that it is a 'mister' and is putting out some moisture, so if you sit too close you are going to get soaked over time; about 15-20 feet distance was perfect for my fan.It is a solid ring and comes with pressure clips to easily clip on/off the fan grill (it doesn't use zip ties like other misting rings). No leaks on the ring or hose fitting for me. I attached a quick-release fitting so I could easily connect to my hose.

Works great!! Live in AZ and keeps the patio ...
Put this on my 20 inch fan. Works great!! Live in AZ and keeps the patio comfortable. Once you dial in the distance to put the fan it will keep you cooler and not soak the patio furniture. For us it is 10-15 feet away. On more humid days it will tend to soak the furniture more, but in AZ it is mostly a dry heat.... One thing to note is if you have hard water be prepared to "regularly" soak the nozzles in hot water & white vinegar to clean them to get the most optimal mist.

Cools you down on a hot summer day!
I like this ring, but the problem I think is that the mist is just a little too heavy and will soak you even at 10 feet away. Don't get me wrong, on a 100 degree day, this feels great...its just I don't like to be soaked.

Works ok, partially defective due to improper engineering and non-existent assistance from the manufacturer...
Works ok, but needs to be on a fan that has a large CFM to be effective. My one negative comment is the on/off valve that comes with it is improperly made so it's useless - it won't even connect to a hose because there are not enough threads there with the washer in place. I've tried contacting the company several times over the past 3 weeks and there has been NO REPLY.

Great product.
Got it for the dogs when they are stuck outside under the patio. Had a box fan set up already, attached the Fan Ring with zip ties, attached it to the garden hose. Piece of cake. The actual fan ring is metal tubing that has been powder coated, the rest of the tubing is vinyl. Great product.

cool breezes
We have a meditation tent and live in the central valley of California, it gets hot in the tent, however with the mister on the temp in the tent is 10-12 degrees cooler and it is quite a treat. We love it. if there were a draw back it would be that the misters cannot be regulated, so it sprays the same all the time, but we got it for the cooling affect ant that is what we are so enjoying.
