Tincture Of Benzoin Compound Swabsticks 50/box

These come 2 presoaked cotton tipped sticks in sterile packaging envelope. Great to apply around wound to give better "stick" for bandaids, steri strips, butterfly strips. Good for areas where lots of movement would loosen most bandages. I have used it to help keep waterproof bandaids better stick. They do have an expiration date on envelope. Envelope will puncture with the stick inside if rough handling. Keep some of them in my First Aid kit, Like these better than product in bottle.

I use these when teaching Wilderness First Aid so my students can get hands on experience applying wound closure strips. I thought they were the kind that have the tincture compound in the glass vial. Probably my mistake in not reading the description close enough. Just be aware the swab stick is sitting in a pouch filled with the tincture and can spill easily and be quite messy.

Had an allergic reaction, would not purchase again

Lots to share for first aid kits for the group. Ideal for infrequent user; did not expect a shelf life.

Used with mole skin to help a platoon get through "The Crucible". Great stuff!
