Best stock pot in the show
Best sized stock pot I've ever used. It's Fissler. Their product line has a reputation and they mean it. I won't buy anything else. I will continue to slowly add to my kitchen tools Fissler pots and pans.

changed my life
Don't know why I waited so long. The lid on this actually does what it is advertised to do. They describe it as having enough weight to keep things in. There is always some steam that escapes when cooking stock, but not a lot. It keeps in enough heat that I can finally get a consistent simmer for my stock, which I could never do with my old pot....it was either boiling, or doing nothing. if you have this problem while making stock, the Fissler pot will fix that problem!

Cookware for a Lifetime
I already own Caphalon and All Clad pots but the Fissler is superior in performance, design, and even clean up. I picked up a 4 quart sauce pan at a close out sale elsewhere and was so impressed that I bought this 10 quart stock pot from Amazon. Clearly this is an investment but for the enthusiastic cook, it is well worth it. My pot was in constant use this winter making soups and stews (Boston had a record breaking winter). Time after time, this was the pot I reached for. The thick bottom minimizes scorching and burning. The lid design really does retain moisture and flavor. The weight is hefty but manageable and Fissler cleans almost as easily as non-stick cookware. If you love to cook, this is the cookware for you.

Appears to live up to hype
Lived up to the fissler hype so far. Build quality seems nice. Haven't cooked anything with it yet besides boiling water for pasta but the base looks thick and should do well on our induction range.

Great Pot
We had Fissler pots that were pushing 40 years old and loved them. Unfortunately those didn't work with our induction stove, so we replaced them with these. They are just as well made. The 40 year old set will go to our kids when they move out. Fissler's German made pots are built for several lifetimes.

Highest QUALITY! A large capacity heavy duty stock pot!
This Fissler Original Pro Collection pot is made to last! It heats evenly and quickly, even when boiling water on my GAS cooktop. But the pot is a little heavy all by itself, so full of water it can be hard to manage. The turned up handles stay cool on the stove and really help the pouring when draining pasta, potatoes, etc. The lid is perfectly shaped inside to cause steam to condense, flow to the center, and drip on the food, basting it perfectly - which is another reason to use this pot for roasting in the oven. If you want a very durable lifetime stock pot, this may be the one! Dimensions: 10.24'' Wide x 13.58'' Deep.(Made in Germany.)

Worth it
Quick to heat up, durable material, and love how the handles are welded in which make it much easier to clean. Great addition to the Fissler set we already owned.

Good
Well made with a heavy base and heavy well fitting lid. The handles being mounted to separate pieces of metal definitely keeps them cooler than if they were directly attached to the sides of the pot. The pouring lip works well, although I'm not convinced of the functionality of the drip cone in the lid. The shape and size of the handles are very good when using oven gloves. The volume graduations are also very useful.Height without the lid is 241mm exactly, so fits nicely in the oven and cooks soups and stock well using the bottom element. The lid handle is 45mm above the lip for a total height of 286mm for the 14L pot.I decided on this model as it had the widest disc at the base- no chance for scorching like a pot with a base narrower than the sides. If I was buying again I'd probably go with the 10.3L 28cm model which would sit more in the centre of the oven and be better for braising/ all round cooking. The 28cm width is definitely useful- when making stock I seem to be able to fit twice as many bones into the same volume as my 20cm pot.

Robust quality; hard wearing and right for the job
We bought this to add to our previous collection and are very happy with the product. Although it is more expensive than other such cookware, you would only buy this once in your life. This quality of the material used and the workmanship is probably the best in the world. It's a delight to cook using the appliance and it is forgiving in that the solid heavy base dissipates the heat evenly around the food that's been cooked.Very happy with the product and would highly recommend it to anyone who takes pride in their cooking and in their food.

German quality at its best!
It's just a big saucepan really - yet it's so beautiful. The quality is superb and I love making big family meals SAFELY with it, (cheaper saucepans can turn boiling water milky in colour!). You feel perfectly reassured by the quality and safety of Fissler. It is heavy, but it works a treat!
