Great Tent!
The instructions are a little paper attached to the tent bag, BUT i will say once you stand it up once.. you can get both tents up in like 10-15min afterwards. Its super easy!Pros:-It rained heavily the first night we camped, the tents held up strong.. no rain came in!-easy setup at camp, took ~10min to get them up and IF you want to connect both tents together then add 5-10min just to line up the zippers and add the little hood poles (if youd like)-tons of space! we had 2 cots and bags in the large tent and it was very comfortable. in the small one, we had a queen size air mattress and had some space for luggage also, it was comfortable.-good looking tents!-tons of windows! love all the windows, we put them to good use during the day and closed em at night since it was chillycons: NA, these tents were exactly what i wanted. the price seemed a little steep but before i purchased these i bought 2 tents at walmart with similar capacity and had to return them because they looked real cheap after i opened the box. then this was confirmed because after i propped them up, i found tears around the tents so i was open to paying more and im glad i found these coleman tents!

Perfect family tent
While it is heavy, this tent system is easy to set up and I had no issues with connecting the two units. The large hexagon has plenty of space for parents as well as storage and the rectangular portion is perfect for the kids. Love it so much that I bought a second one!

The perfect family tent!
The media could not be loaded. I have uploaded a time lapse video of the setup for this tent. We bought the bundle with the 6 person and 3 person tent. The setup took us one hour, however I believe it would really only take us 30 minutes. We moved the tent around to find the perfect angle as the ground has a grade to it and our air mattresses must go in a certain direction. Setup was easy compared to other tents.I have supplied interior photos of how we set up the tent with our beds. The smaller 3 person tent holds a queen air mattress perfectly. The larger 6 person tent held 2 twin air mattresses along with all our bags.We are building off grid and stay in a tent during our builds on weekends. We were originally staying in the Coleman red canyon. The red canyon was a great tent but smaller with little airflow/windows. The connectable tent has large windows on every wall and allows maximum airflow for hot summer nights. The height is also a lot better and taller making changing clothes easier.

Hexagon makes cool connectible feature mandatory
I bought only the the 6 person tent which, unlike the bundle apparently, does not have a wheeled carrier - but the bag *is* expandable, which was necessary after our trial setup and re-fold. There was room inside for a small broom and our studier stakes & mallet. It's heavy but manageable, although the handles are uncomfortable after a few seconds. The tent is nice and tall, and all the windows/doors make it very pleasant inside. However, keep in mind that it's a hexagon, not a rectangle, so the 10x12 dimension doesn't really represent it accurately. You've got 12 usable feet for only bit over 5' of its width. Our air mattresses - two twins and a queen - don't really fit. With everything jammed at odd angles, we made it work, but bits of each twin were tilted up against the wall. We'll be getting a smaller pod tent to attach and make our next trip more comfortable (which was the selling point for me in the first place, flexibility for the multiple configurations we travel in. I had hoped we *could* go as a four-person group in just one tent though, so that's why a star came off.)Quality, it's what I expected - serviceable but not luxury. Except the tiny zipper on the electric port, which sucks. The only "features" are four small pouches for knickknacks around the edges, and a small plastic loop at the top to hang a lightweight lantern. Setup was easy after the trial run, one person did it in 10-15 minutes.Thankfully, it held up well in the heavy rain we got. I'd applied a halfhearted coat of Scotchgard, but almost certainly missed several spots and didn't touch the bottom. Not a drop came in through the solid material. I'd only staked out two guy lines for the rain fly, but even those were probably superfluous; it's held off of the tent-proper by the external pole setup. The rain fly has two propped-up vents for airflow, which I would close in the future if I had time. Some rain was able to blow up in under one of them, but only a dozen drops total. There were puddles on the ground underneath the tent (no ground tarp) and zero seepage through the floor, although it felt a bit damp to the touch. The awnings where additional tents attach are very generous (far more so than the "main" door's, which could be bigger). On the leeward side, we could have kept all those windows open in the storm and stayed completely dry. They are prone to loud flapping in a light breeze, though.

So disappointing for such a great concept
This connecting tent system is an excellent concept and we really wanted to love this but it is flawed in significant ways. In our experience, the tent leaked at point where the connector tunnel met. The fly on each tent drives the rain towards the connection of the tunnel and those zippers met at the top, leaving no where for the rain to go but inside the tunnel. I genuinely hope Coleman works on this design flaw because the idea of a connecting tent system is brillliant! There were a few other significant issues with the zippers being faulty on first use - and yes, I’m very gentle and patient with zippers. There was also a piece of text fabric that was not sewn on properly and came away the minute we tried to connect to it. Despite this ring very disappointing, I believe Coleman makes great products and I’ve had many over the years. I hope they try to fix this so I can try again it in future.

Do not be fooled by the pictures!
Although the marketing pictures show the small pods attaching to the larger central hub via zippers, they do not actually link together. You can only connect small with small and other with large. They’re different heights and the zippers are different lengths. Have a look at other reviews online and you’ll see Coleman is well aware of this discrepancy between the product and the marketing materials. The Velcro flaps are all hook, no loop. They can’t be connected either. At least amazon take returns!
