Works fine, fits the radio fine. I didn't really need the European plug adapter so much as I needed to be able to plug the radio into a regular AC outlet. I mostly use the radio indoors so I don't want to run down the battery unnecessarily. When I carry the radio outside or to take it with me away from home, it's always fully charged because I've been using house electric current instead of battery. (The radio came with a USB power cord, but not an AC power cord.) If it's helpful for anyone to know, the European plug adapter looks just like ones I've used in the past in Europe and in some South American countries. I just haven't had occasion to need to use it as of yet.

The HQRP AC adapter arrived on time and does an excellent job of charging the Eton FRX5 weather radio. I strongly recommend this AC adapter.

Nice adapter for the Eton FRX5 hand crank radio, works well for EU outlets too. Wish it was included with the radio as default though.
