How many pegs are on it and how far apart are they?

There are 112 pegs per board (224 total for both boards). They are spaced 5/16 of an inch apart. The boards are 38 inches long, and it is approximately 35 1/4 inches from 1st peg to 112th peg.

How wide will my blankett be if I knitt all the loom's length in jersey DOUBLE stitches, please. (I'm french, I hope you understand what I mean)

I did double stitches where each row/pair was a stitch: blanket was about 5 feet wide when it came off the rack. My stitches were loose, and not tight, which I prefer.

Does this have metal pins or plastic, the desscription says metal?
