Zoe's Rescue Zoo Collection 10 Books Set Amelia Cobb

These engaging stories are not sassy, not scary and not overly girly. They are fantastic for young, advanced readers.My 6-year-old reads at a late elementary/young adult level (Little House on the Prairie, etc). Books aimed at 1st graders are much too easy for her, but "big-kid books" are often to intense in subject matter. She plows through Zoe's Rescue Zoo in a day or two, but she adores the stories and very happily rereads them over and over.The downside? These are ridiculously hard to get hold in the US. I grabbed a 2-pack for $5, on a whim, at a Scholastic bookfair...and was dismayed to realize that I would have to pay $8 - $15 EACH to add to our collection. This set seemed like a good deal, BUT the titles pictured were not the titles we received. I thought we were getting 8 new titles and 2 we already owned. Instead, we got 5 new & 5 we already owned. I'll be donating the duplicates to our school library - not a total loss - but the new books ended up being basically $10 each. Granddaughters loved the books. Made the five year old interested in geography. Only unexpected thing was I didn’t realize that it was a British publication so some things needed explanation. I hope scholastic would republish the entire series

I love this collection and way cheaper than buying one at a time. There was however one missing that they said they would reimburse me for but never did. Other than that happy with the purchase and it arrives quickly.

Wonderful wonderful books, my 6 years old daughter loves them. We read 4 of them so far and love each of them. Lovely story, educational.

Very reasonably priced set of books. Daughter asked for them for Christmas and was very excited to receive them.

My daughter enjoys these wonderful books. We already have some and going by the description I was buying 8/10 books new to us but I received a different pack 6 of which we already have. Disappointed
