Sisters Ends, Kongou Arrives & the Daihasei Begins
This seventh volume of 'A Certain Scientific Railgun' can be split into three sections. The first part of the volume is the end of the Sisters arc and sees the end of the fight between Touma and Accelerator before moving onto the aftermath where Misaka must deal with her feelings of guilt over the events of the arc and over how badly Touma was hurt. This was a nice end to the series with a good fight and some nicely done emotional moments as well. The second part of the volume sees Tokiwadai Middle School get a new student in the form of the upper-class Kongou Mitsuko. I have liked Kongou since I watched the anime version of the story (where she was introduced far sooner than in the manga) and this volume does a good job of introducing the her with some nice humour and some good development of her character, as well as being something of a breather after the somewhat darker Sisters arc. This section also sees the fifth strongest Level 5, Shokuhou Misaki, the Queen of Tokiwadai. The final part of the volume sees the beginning of the Daihasei Festival, a week-long sports festival that involves all the schools in Academy City where the students are allowed to use their powers. This arc is only just beginning in this volume but we do get to see the first event that Misaka is involved in and there is some nice humour. This section of the volume also includes brief cameos for six of the seven Level 5s (the only one missing being Number 6 who, from what I have read, has yet to make an appearance in any media from the series, even the original light novels). This seventh volume of 'A Certain Scientific Railgun' was a very entertaining volume. Having said that, this volume is where some knowledge of its parent series 'A Certain Magical Index' would come in handy as it does leave out the Remnant arc. While this arc doesn't have much to do with the plot of the series, it is the reason that Shirai is in hospital and a wheelchair for the Daihasei arc, and is only hinted at in the volume.Overall this volume is a very good one and is well worth a full five stars.

This volume has the last bit of the Accelerator fight and the introduction of Kongou Mitsuko witch i loved as i love her in the anime where she is introduced sooner in season 1 . It also starts the next arc the Daihasei festival arc . This is my number one Manga series ever
