This is hands down one of the best products to use for chapped, dry lips and the added spf is a bonus! I love using the original aquaphor to moisturize all over and this makes it so convenient and easy to have with me at all times. It heals, soothes, hydrates and protects from the sun and uv rays! Plus it adds a nice shine! A must in my anti-aging routine! It’s number one recommended by doctors and dermatologists for a reason! 100/10!!!

The Aquaphor Lip Protectant and Sunscreen Ointment is a staple in our home. It’s a simple, effective lip balm that does exactly what it’s supposed to. I keep one in our family’s go-to bag, and each of my kids has their own in their school backpacks. Since they tend to lose things often, this balm is affordable enough to replace without guilt. It works as expected. It soothes chapped lips while providing SPF 30 protection, which was one of the main reasons I chose it. The formula feels smooth and protective without being sticky, and it holds up well for our needs. It’s a practical and budget-friendly lip balm that covers all the basics: hydration, comfort, and sun protection, so this is on my repurchase list.

The picture shows the products I selected to battle cold sores. I was taking lysine pills to try and decrease the frequency of my cold sore flare ups and it wasn't working super well and they are enormous pills. So instead I decided to shorten the life of my breakouts. To start, the lemon balm tastes awful. Like I seriously hate it and it smells like pine sol. That being said IT WORKS. To combat the taste I put a layer on my lips and then over the top I put a layer of the l-lysine balm pictured. I kid you not this combination of products wiped out a small breakout I just had in 2 days and prevented the infection from spreading across my entire mouth. To combat the taste I just use mouthwash after applying. The other products pictured I use in conjunction. The L-lysine is another godsend product. I use it almost everyday when I get out of the shower. The Breakout Buster is from Rocky Moutain Soap Company and it's natural and made with tea tree oil. This stays on my nightstand and I also use it whenever I feel the tingle and it wipes everything out before it starts. The herpacin I use less frequently only because I try to reserve it for sun exposure and wind protection. Pandemic means I haven't really been spending too much time out but it seems to work. And the Aquaphor I use with the breakout buster if my lips are particularly dry and I'm afraid of a breakout. I slather it on before bed and it helps. I hope this review is helpful and I strongly encourage anyone who struggles with chronic cold sores to purchase these products to clear your breakouts fast!

So I have noticed this on its own will dry out my lips however it works as expected so now I use it in conjunction with my jelly textured lip balm to seal in moisture for a day or long term

I keep one of these everywhere now. One in my purse, one by my bed, one floating around somewhere in the car universe. It’s super moisturizing without feeling heavy or sticky, and I love that it has SPF because my lips are apparently determined to become tiny raisins in the Florida sun ☀️. It helps when my lips get dry or irritated and makes them feel better really quickly. Just one of those simple products that quietly becomes part of your daily routine because it works.

Whenever I'm outside for more than 3-4 hours, my lips get so chapped and occasionally sunburnt. I tried these out and find that they are very effective at preventing dryness and getting sunburnt. I like that it's liquid form so I can keep in my hot car for emergencies. The application is easy, you can apply directly with the tube or use your finger. It goes on nicely and stays on for a while. I'd say that you'd have to reapply every few hours. Whenever I remember to use this, my lips don't get burnt which tell me they work nicely. First of all, I read some reviews discussing taste. I’d like to know why are you people tasting this? Stop licking your lips! This is probably why you have chapped lips. For those that try it straight from the tube, just why??? This is not an edible product, so why are you consuming it? The whole purpose of this is to fixed chapped lips and offer a little sunscreen protection. To the reviewer who had severely chapped lips after being on an island, obviously this wasn’t going to prevent a sunburn on an island. It is only spf 30. You needed spf 70. Don’t blame the company for your poor choices. Focusing on my experience now. My lips are chronically chapped. This did not fix it instantly. The past couple of days, I have used it consistently along with staying hydrated. I have noticed significant improvement in my chapped lips. Part of that is from the lifestyle change of staying hydrated, and part of that is from this product. This product works if you consistently use it. One use is not going to magically fix your lips.

I don't like it so much, don't get me wrong it's really moisturizing but because it has spf when it reaches your mouth it's an awful taste, so I rather stick to the original version

The best product of many tried on very dry flaking skin , no perfume.
