Not a standard fit
Buyer BEWARE - this is not a standard fit according to my plumber; the inner thread is smaller than standard. It's nice looking and if you are lucky enough that it fits you may be pleased, but in my case it did not and the seller refused a return and refund. Considering the seller does not state the thread diameter in the description I feel that was a very poor show, so be aware you'll be taking a chance with the item if you purchase.

Is it a direct replacement?
I had already ordered and received a different make, but the threads where different to the existing. I text CentreHome for the dimensions, but they couldn't provide the info, took a chance because the photo looked the same as the existing, and luckily it proved to be the same, as return postage for the first one was £ 3.2

Decent quality replacement.
First off, I bought this product to replace a genuine Optima 49 flush button, but as the cheapest price I’d seen for a genuine part was over forty quid, I plumped for this one.At first glance you might think it’s the wrong size thread on the main body (the larger diameter thread) when you attempt to screw it in, but don’t be fooled as the pitch of the thread is correct. There were two problems I had with the button I received with both problems being on the same thread, 1 - was that there’s no lead in chamfer for the thread & 2 - the peaks of the threads were too sharp.I know people wouldn’t want to modify a brand new purchase but as I knew this would work (30yrs + experience in making in making plastic components), I took a small needle file and rubbed off the sharp edges and hey presto it fit like a dream. If you didn’t have a needle file I’d suggest sand paper to remove the sharp edges of the thread. This does not affect the cosmetic look of the button. Also, the dual flush button is for looks only, single flush only, at least it is on my system. For less than a tenner it’s well worth it even if I had to modify the part slightly.Overall this part is good quality, value for money with a decent lead time.
