AFI, Madison Twin Solid Wood Panel Headboard with Attachable Charger, Espresso

I've given this headboard five stars because it met our expectations. It is nice looking and was easy to assemble. We had no issues with the quality, an issue raised by some reviewers. The finish (white) was evenly applied and we found no imperfections.We installed this item in our guest bedroom, which gets very little use. It is not as rigid as we would like, but this is more due to the nature of the connection to the bed frame than to a deficiency in the headboard itself. A more robust/heavier headboard would probably not have this problem, and buyers looking for a "full time" headboard might be well advised to spend a bit more or look at alternative methods to attach to the frame (some frames have a "bayonet" fitting that would fit into the slots also provided in the headboard).This headboard came with a USB outlet that could be installed on one of the legs. We did not use it since we have conventional outlets on either side of the bed.

This headboard was lovely, well built, easy to assemble, and offered at a good price but it does not fit on every type of metal bed frame such as the newer Zinus (and other platform bed brands) frames. I bought 2 of these headboards with one being at a lower price and listed as used. What I received in that box was a bunch of random looking metal parts. It was not even remotely the product that I had purchased. I'm assuming that this issue was with however the returns are processed on Amazon. The headboard that was new and unopened was very nice but had to be returned because it would not fit on my metal bed frames. I still feel like this furniture company is offering quality, affordable items and I would order from them again.

Listen, I am not going to kid myself, this is a very inexpensive headboard. I did not expect this to be made out of the worlds finest hardwoods. That being said, it looks very nice, it is super easy to assemble and attach to metal bed frame. It is made out of real wood so if it didn’t fit you could drill your own holes or install your own threaded inserts. You could also reinforce it with wood on the back. Overall, this item arrived early, was easy to assemble, and looks nicer than it probably should for its price point.

I bought this to complete my nautical style bedroom. We got the queen size it was lightweight. Easy to put together and looks expensive.

I truly can't think of anything I've regretted buying more (online or in person more). If I didn't have a 3 year old begging for it to be put together I would have put it right back in its box and tried to figure out how to ship it back. It is truly an awful piece of 'furniture'. I guess this falls under the 'you get what you pay for category' because while I didn't pay much relatively speaking, I certainly didn't get much either. The packaging was fine, a box within a box. It came with 3 pieces (headboard, 2 legs) plus a box of hardware. The first thing that I notices is that there were a number of cracks on the front and back of the headboard. I probably could have made due with ones on the back-but the ones on the front are completely noticeable. The installation was *relatively* easy-I put the legs on wrong 2 different times. That was my fault, not the products. On the bright side it was only undoing 4 screws each time. I bought this to attach to an existing metal bed frame, which I checked to be possible before buying. It attaches, barely, and is incredibly flimsy. I did everything I could to get the holes to line up to the frame and to make sure that all the bolts were tightened. I did not feel that this piece was secure enough to be placed even 6 inches away from the wall, so I had to reconfigure my daughters room (didn't want the register being covered) to make sure that this headboard was against a wall.I am embarrassed. Embarrassed for having bought this, and for the company that they would even sell this to customers. Had I seen this in person I would not have paid a dime for it. I will contact the company to see about replacing, but I don't even know that I want a replacement. I have serious concerns about its safety especially given it is for my daughter. Again, buyer beware. I wanted an inexpensive, short term solution for my daughters room. I did not realize just how short term it would be.

Nice wood headboard. No surprises when opened. Looked great on the bed. All hardware was there.

I was surprised to find out this headboard had to be assembled. I thought I just missed that detail in the description so I checked and there is no mention of that. Hopefully, they will add that to the product description for future buyers. The quality is okay, there are a couple of cracks that don't appear to affect the durability. The picture on Amazon is an accurate depiction of the product.

First one we received was defective-holes did not line up for assembly- contacted amazon and a new one was immediately shipped and defective one returned with no issues - holes did not quite line up with our bed frame so we had to improvise by drilling one new hole on each leg, but worth it as we love the look and really wanted to keep it-it is solid wood and looks like an expensive headboard- would recommend

Pre drilled holes and dowels did not match when trying to put it together.Two days to get hold of the supplier on their 24/7 contract line.Waiting now to find out the return shipment and refund.

The price for a wood headboard and the simple design were two good features. However, I emailed the manufacturer (as requested in the packaging) and explained how there were multiple cracks running along the headboard (how it was assembled for shipping, shipping, etc.) and there was no response - not even a confirmation email.We bought the Amazon basics metal frame, which fit the box-spring and mattress perfectly, but did not fit the double/full size headboard. The headboard was too wide to fit the double/full size metal frame. I mentioned this as well and no response. How disappointing to not value customer satisfaction.
