Works Great-Hook up in Proper Order
This is a great water timer for a reasonable price . Easy to use. I am an older woman that has been struggling for a year with leaks in my drip system, I decided to buy all components from the same manufacturer and make sure I wasn't putting pipe fitting into hose fittings and stripping them. It turned out to be critical to have a pressure regulator attached to the spigot before adding the water timer. I had the pressure regulator and water timer down the line on a hose attached to the spigot. This last year I have had two water timers that flooded out. This timer uses a 9V battery. After having used timers with 4 AA batteries, I prefer the 9V. It lasts longer. It is not as convenient to replace the battery as some timers I have used. I recommend this timer for its simplicity. The front is easy to read. It gets the job done without driving you crazy! It was delivery very quickly.

Great product and company
I own several of these. The plastic attachment to the faucet had cracked probably from moving the hose. I contacted the company and they immediately sent the part out no charge for the part or shipping. I also had one stop working and they again sent out a replacement free of charge. The interaction with the company has been painless and very professional which is so hard to find today in a company.

I bought 3 of these last summer and used them ...
I bought 3 of these last summer and used them from may-november with no problems. I stored them inside for the winter, replaced the batteries and started using them again in early April this year. Based on recommendations in other reviews I installed them after a pressure reducer. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the confusing instructions others have noted - you can only set the watering schedule immediately after installing the battery. You can follow their instructions to change the start time, but you can't change the duration. If you want to change both the start time and duration, you have to remove the battery for a couple of minutes, then reinstall it and then set a new watering schedule. Manually running an extra cycle, or turning it off when it's raining, work as described in the instructions. Simple to use, cheap, and have worked well for me for a year so far.

Battery operated drip irrigation timer - simple and reliable
This DIG irrigation timer is the easiest to use and most reliable of all irrigation timers. DIG has a more sophisticated timer with digital screen interface; however, it is not as reliable or as long lasting as this one, the 9001EZ. This is the best, longest lasting, most reliable battery operated timer on the market. I've used other DIG timers and other brands and have had the most success with this one. What more can I say?

Simple and Rugged
I have two of these and they are simple to use and stone-axe rugged. The only thing you need to go to the instructions for is to find out how to delay the start of a cycle. I use one for my place in Arizona to maintain the level in a small watering pool (for the fauna in the summer) and I have one on my deck in Seattle to water the pots in the summer.I would definitely recommend them for simple watering tasks.

Did not function
I read all the other reviews and carefully programmed and timed battery insertion to avoid issues. Both units (I ordered 2) still did not water at properly programmed times. I called DIG tech support, they were helpful, took me through a few tests over the phone and quickly pronounced the units as defective. Return was painless. I ended up replacing them with another brand - in addition to my bad experience with reliability, the units were a bit too simple and didn't have enough programming options.

As expected
I had one on a regular faucet connection. We are in a drought area and are using rain barrels. I have attached one of these dependable and easy to program hose ender timers to each of my rain barrels for drip watering new trees and a flowerbed. They are workiing perfectly.

and was very disappointed. I kept the timer rather than sending it ...
Warning - Bait & Switch! Photo shows 9001EZ but what you receive is a BO92A as it plainly states.. I should have checked my previous model number, but I trusted the photo, and was very disappointed. I kept the timer rather than sending it back, because I had just planted grass seed & needed a timer immediately. The 9001EZ is much simpler to use. You can do a manual watering at any time just buy pushing the button. So easy to set with one dial for duration & one dial for interval. The BOL92A has an "enter" button that you have to push after you set the dials to the cycle you want. I could not find a way to do a manual watering (in between what you've set on the dial) other than setting the dial to manual & then pressing enter. So much simpler on the 9001EZ.
