Lumens vs Wattage vs Brightness - These replaced 60 watt incandescents with no problem!
While the majority of chandelier/candelabra bulbs require a smaller base, I found that two wall sconces in my home used "standard" bulb bases but bulbs installed were frosted "flame wick" style. Most searches for LED chandelier bulbs resulted in those with smaller bases...except for these Feit bulbs.I was apprehensive because I was planning on replacing 60w bulbs with 40w equivalent and, in the past, had made sure that the lumens were at least a divisible of 10 match to ensure similar brightness. In previous practice this has meant a 40w bulb would be replaced by an LED with minimum 400 Lumen. Going down to 300 lumen I was certain the brightness would be much less than I needed but, as these were the closest matching bulbs at the moment, with the most reasonable price, I decided to bite the bullet. What a pleasant surprise! These clear 300lumen bulbs produce such a bright white light that they appear to match the output of the warmer colored, frosted 60 incandescents they were replacing! The light coverage in the dining area did not suffer noticeably at all and the bright white output complimented the room color very well. Leaving one incandescent bulb in and one of these LED replacements, I can say that the room was illuminated to a comfortable level by the new bulbs but, YMMV. The design of this clear bulb actually gives it an elegant look when switched on - almost like a twinkling star due to the refracting element in the center of the bulb. There is a very slight delay from flipping the light switch to when these bulbs actually turn on. It may be due to their dimming feature - another feature I required. There is no flicker even at lowest dim setting and the brightest setting almost feels too bright for the space they are meant to illuminate. Going from 120 watts to less than 10 watts, I am very happy with the purchase!

E26 Screw Base
You have to go way down in the fine print to get that detail, which I found extremely annoying. Chandelier/candelabra is commonly assumed to mean E12 (small base), and this listing doesn't specify very well. I can't use it for the intended application in my bedroom as a result. That said, this is a great bulb if you need a chandelier shape in an E26 base. It puts out a lot of lumens per watt, and it's a nice warm light quality. I found a place to use it where it could still contribute, and I would buy them again for certain uses if they fit the bill.

When buying new bulbs, think Lumens, not Watts
We have replaced ALL our incandescent light bulbs, both indoors and outdoors with LED bulbs. And yes, we have realized a savings on our monthly wattage electric bill. This is why we are saving money: Lumens measure how much light you are getting from a bulb. More lumens means it's a brighter light; fewer lumens means it's a dimmer light. (Lumens are to light what Gallons are to milk.) Lumens let you buy the amount of light you want. So when buying your new bulbs, think lumens, not watts. The electric company charges for the amount of watts you consume. We are now consuming a tenth (1/10th) of wattage than we have in the past and therefore our electric bill has dropped significantly.

1 of 2 burnt out after 9 months of use.
I bought two of these back in March 2013. I'm very happy with the temperature, and brightness. However after 9 months one of them has burned out. If I had wanted a bulb which burns out so quickly, I would have stuck with standard bulbs for a buck instead of paying 16 times more for these.I'd estimate they get about 3-4 hours of use every evening. So I got about 1,260 hours from a bulb which claimed 25,000. Even if I had this bulb on non-stop from the time of purchase it still wouldn't have met it's claim.

I ordered these twice, an the second time while talking to someone the telephone and I got the large base each time when I wanted the candelabra base. I gave up after the second time and kept the ones with wrong base. Now I just have to find a use for the wrong bulb.

Nasty glare
Bought these for the vanity light in our master bath. It has "tulip" style globes on it, with these shaped bulbs. The LED bulb was actually a lot brighter than the 40W incandescent that it replaced, but the light was more straight out of the top of the bulb, which made a very glarey pattern when standing in front of it. Another minor annoyance: it doesn't turn on instantly, there's a noticeable ~1/2 sec delay when you flip the switch to when the bulb actually turns on. Sent it back. The search goes on...

Wrong screw base
After reading a review complaining about getting a standard screw base instead of the smaller one, I ordered, thinking I would get the standard screw base. If you zoom in on the first picture, it say "standard base flame tip". The second image shows an undeniably blatant standard screw base. So after triple checking that this was the correct item, imagine my disappointment when the WRONG screw base arrived in the mail. After complaining to customer service, I was offered a refund. I told them I did NOT want a refund. I just wanted the correct product. They said they could not do that.

Excellent if making canning jar lights
These are excellent for making canning jar lights. You can have lights on for hours and the jars never get even warm. Bought one bulb in a store and couldn't find anymore. I needed four lights to get enough light for my small kitchen. Was pleased I could get them on line. Would definitely recommend them for your lighting needs.
