Works great, excellent quality, almost perfect.
I ordered the upgraded, more durable version and it works great! I use my laptop on the couch and this works great to fine tune the angle I wanted for the laptop and to keep it stable on the mushy parts of the couch. I appreciated this being a wider model than others as I've got a 17 inch screen and I'm a bigger guy so it's nice to have the leg room. The fan is ultra quiet, like I forget it's plugged in quiet, and it works great. I would imagine the mechanical parts that adjust the legs would wear out if this were readjusted on a regular basis, otherwise I'd say it should last a long time. I angled the base of the laptop to be tilted toward me to see the keyboard easier in dim lighting and it did start to slide over the lip a little bit. There is no clips to keep the laptop in place. I had a sheet of non-slip silicone that I use to keep it from moving around. This may not be an issue at all for most users. The mouse pad is sturdy enough for regular use. It only attaches in one place with a screw so it's not very adjustable, but it seems positioned well enough. Overall, I'm very pleased with it.

Sturdy with brittle wiring
Nice and sturdy, but the fan wires are thin and brittle. I had to replace the USB plug.

Love this stand - the lip on front makes a huge difference
I am saving for a rebuilt computer and needed a stand for using the old laptop for a short time - and I wanted something to use in bed. Wow - how did I ever live without one of these in the past? I love it. I looked at a lot of similar models and chose this one for the fan - which I need - and it is very quiet and efficient. I also chose it for the substantial rounded front edge on the tray which acts as a wrist wrest in a way. I cant' imagine loving this nearly as much if it was built like others I viewed with just a little clip or flip up to hold the computer behind the front edge. I can't wait to use this also outside to take work out to the deck. Because it is flexible in set ups and folds flat - I just know this will be a long time favorite item for me. It cost a little more than some of the others but for the fan and front edge it was well worth it.

False advertising and false product claims.
Okay so after reaching out to the manufacturer prior to ordering was informed it was a 19" lap desk with a. 19inch platform width width and a 22 inch platform depth with 33lb weight capacity. Well sadly once the product arrive I set it up properly and all and my 27.5 pound $5000 laptop bends the laptop plate as well as the 17" laptop hand 4 inches off the back not only that but the frame doesn't even hold its position..... I'm completely pissed

Not great. Not terrible.
I bought this laptop desk as I needed a wide adjustable stand with a fan for work from home days. This seemed to fit the bill and was priced nicely. It looks great and did what it was purchased to do. However...since I don't work from home every day, this does need to be folded up and stored until my next WFH opportunity. It can be a pain in the butt having to readjust the three joints on each leg each time you want to use the desk or store the desk. That did get old pretty quickly. Sadly, one morning when I was setting my my handy little desk, I lost my grasp on it (chalking that up to a dangerously low blood/caffeine ratio) and it fell to the floor. One of the joints cracked and broke, making it even more difficult to set up and knock down. Rolled with it for about a month and finally gave up and dropped it in the recycling bin. Unfortunately, I wouldn't purchase this model again.

well, I like it...
I didn't do very much research before purchasing, the stand is pretty strong. I have an 8 pound gaming laptop and it holds it without any major problems (it does hang off the back a little, it's the dell g7 RTX)my hp pavilion laptop is smaller and sits extremely nice on it.I'm a decent sized guy with kind of a gut, 42 waist, I still have a good 2-3 inches of room and it's so easy to get comfortable and lift this thing above my belly so I can type without gut rest.. lolMy suggestions to the manufacturer/seller/whoever can speak with the manufacturer/designer/whatever...The metal wrist rest can be a bit uncomfortable. maybe offer a model with a removable gel rest? The mouse pad attachment is nice, but could be a bit sturdier. It's going to break eventually. hopefully you guys have replacements.overall, great product. I'd probably purchase again if I needed another one

Complete waste of money!
The product I received was probably a customer return, as it was shipped in an intact Amazon box, but the product box inside was torn up, battered and not sealed properly. There was no packing material inside, the plastic covering was just wrapped around it hurriedly, and the hardware was just floating around in the box. This is not stable AT ALL! The quality is... well, non-existent, it's mostly made of plastic - which is about as strong as what metal there is! - very flimsy and I don't feel comfortable placing my 3lb laptop on it, even with it sitting on a sturdy counter. The mousepad is a joke. None of my optical mice work on the trackpad, (which looks and feels like the underside of a typical mousepad). Even tightening the bolt with an extra washer around it doesn't help it to stop tilting at the slightest movement. Worst of all, you have to dust off your old high school geometry class notes to calculate the angles you'd need to adjust the arms to in order to get this to sit level, because the degree markings onall 6 adjustment buttons at the joints simply don't match up to what they indicate (I've even tested them with a leveler).
