Excellent and Useful Three Step Little Giant Safety Step Ladder
Excellent and well built three step Little Giant Safety Step. Its solidly made and has wide steps and a handle at the top to help balance as I reach up high to get things out of my kitchen cupboards OR to reach for a bird feeder to refill! Whatever the task may be THIS Little Ladder makes the task EASY and SAFE! Love the little wheels you can use to move it to the next location……VERY NICE addition to this very handy and sturdy ladder!!

Very sturdy, wide steps, will be very safe to use.
This ladder is a lot beefier than I had imagined, absolutely bombproof, excellent build quality. It's a bit heavier than I thought it would be, but that's the price of sturdiness. Purchased this ladder for entry/exit from my RV; it comes highly recommended from the RV community. My only complaint is that the upper extension is not removable, ie, it's all riveted together. I would have preferred it to be removable since it will be extra weight that I will not be using. I needed it only for the "steps". I didn't notice, but it also has wheels mounted on it that are engaged by tilting the ladder. They will facilitate moving if on a smooth surface - nice feature!

Best one
It's great. Very sturdy. It's easy enough to figure out how to use. It survived the shipping in the big, busted-up box it slid around in.The tray is really helpful for tools and nails and things. It's pretty dang tall. My ceiling is actually too low to use the fourth step, which is great news for it being used outside, too.I'm almost 300lbs and it doesn't even sweat. It's a bit heavy, but nothing too bad or remotely compared to a full sized ladder at this build point.

Terrific ladder, 36 inch top step, folds easily once you figure out the process
Massive improvement over my standard 36 inch top step stepladder! This Little Giant 3 step is very stable, the steps are extra wide, the grab bar with the tool tray on top is very helpful a s has enough capacity for screws and small tools. This Little Giant folds easily once you know the system for folding the ladder flat.I don’t find this ladder heavy at all and it’s easy to grab and carry around.I have much better height and reach over my old 36 inch step ladder. The Little Giant comes completely assembled and the folding process is super easy.Just make sure you put the top safety grab rail/tool holder down FIRST and then reach over and push the ladder back to your body. See my video.I have a lot of stuff in my shop that is on 72 inch shelves and reaching the top shelves is far safer and easier with this Little Giant 3 step ladder.I’ve been climbing ladders for 50+ years and the wide steps and grab rail on this Little Giant are greatly appreciated at my age.Definitely worth the money especially compared to a visit to the ER!

The Ladder You Will Never Regret Buying
I bought this Little Giant Safety Step for my wife who seems to be unduly occupied with whatever stuff she has stored on the upper shelves of her high closet. Watching her standing on a tall wood box gave me reason to worry for her safety. Even so, she gave me one of "those looks" when I said that I was bringing home a Little Giant for her. Some precise measurements:Floor to 1st step 8-3/4"Floor to 2nd step 17-3/4"Both steps measure 14-3/16" wide and 9-1/8" front-to-back... with a 1" high noseFloor to top of extended handle 33-3/4" The handle width is 18-1/4" side to side, but the grab width at the top is effectively 13" before curving downward.Made of steel: handle hinges, brackets, all rivets, and bearings.Made of aluminum: the basic A frame structure, handle, under-stair tubes, and rear brace. The steps appear to be heavy castings.Without divulging specifics, I just happen to be the *perfect test* for the stated weight capacity of this stepladder. ;) It feels rock steady to me... and it will certainly feel that way to anyone carrying fewer pounds. The most important point I want to make about this Little Giant Safety Step is that you feel much more like you are standing on normal stair steps than on a ladder. Stair steps feel comfortable, secure and safe; ladder rungs do not! You can stand on this for hours without fatigue. The engineering put into this Little Giant Safety Step is apparent. Each part appears more than strong enough to accomplish its task. The parts work in concert; the stepladder opens and closes smoothly and with ease. If you're tired of risking your life standing on the sorts of bargain-priced stepladders that are usually employed by homeowners, *this* is just the ladder for you. While no stepladder can guarantee you won't break bones if you ignore basic safety rules, this Little Giant is not likely to be the reason for any mishap. I supervised construction and would never buy or use a cheap ladder of any kind ---- your safety is well worth the extra money.

Great Ladder But Some Things to Note
First, I have only had this 3 step ladder for about a month and used it twice. It is strong, sturdy, high tech, very well designed, has extremely safe footing (no slippage) and is one cool looking piece of equipment. But I might mention perhaps a few reservations for example a little old lady purchasing it. On one hand you have skid proof steps which are very roomy. But the weight of this ladder is not light--its on the heavier side, but the designer designed on the ladder a bar for carrying--so for the average user the weight would be okay. When you close this ladder you must depress both sides of the bar that comes up (this stabilizes you when you "reach over") and this takes a bit of hand power. It took me a few times to get the hang of this and needs a little bit of power. And you must closed the stabilizer bar before you close the entire ladder, although you do not have to use the stabilizer bar if you don't want to. Overall an excellent ladder for stability and strength but not for someone who may not be able to carry a heavy load or doesn't have a certain amount of strength if that stabilizer needs to be closed.

Awesome step ladder - I got the 4-step version
Needed a step ladder for work that was tall enough, sturdy enough, and had deep enough treads that I could also use it to sit on since my work varies from floor to ceiling and sometimes in tight spaces. This one fits the bill for everything. The steps have a nice non-slip surface. It also has wheels for ease of movement around the work space. Just grab the handle and swing it down to tilt the ladder and you're off and moving.Because the treads are so deep, if I'm in a tight space, I can turn the ladder sideways and stand on it sideways and still feel balanced and steady. Yes, it's heavy to carry, but you can always unfold it and just wheel it wherever it needs to go. In this case, heavy translates to sturdy and that's exactly what I needed.Only downside I've noticed is the metal edges are a little rougher than I'd like, so when I'm folding or handling it there might be some discomfort. I'll solve that with a bit of duct tape on those edges. If the manufacturer happens to read this review, please address that issue. Not all of us are wearing work gloves when using this ladder. Either smooth the edges further or add a bit of rubber/plastic trim to cover it. I'm talking about the edges on the underside of the treads, so it's only an issue when folding/unfolding the ladder. The top edges of everything are fine.It is on the expensive side of the spectrum for a step ladder, but I've used the cheap ones at work and they are nowhere near as sturdy or nonslip as this one, nor as functional. They are flimsy compared to this beast. After perusing various ladders for weeks, reading reviews, and comparing features, I am quite satisfied with this purchase. I expect this ladder will outlast me.

Why didn’t I buy this sooner
Why didn’t I buy this sooner? I kept seeing the 2 step version at my local grocery store and it is so sturdy and easy to move around. I have a house with 9 & 10’ ceiling which has made it difficult to clean or use top shelves in the cabinets. After 65 I refuse to use a ladder or the rickety plastic step stools. One fall could change my retirement plans and I am not willing to risk it. This step stool sits between the end of my dining room table and the wall and if I keep the handle folded down it isn’t visible. So far, ceiling fans and bathroom exhaust fans have been cleaned and next is the top shelf of the pantry and kitchen cabinets. I have concrete floors so the wheels move about easily and even went over my fluffy rugs without much effort. It is expensive, but well worth it.

Too heavy
Although the product is of high quality, however, it is not suitable for a housewife, as it is too heavy

Tolle Leiter
Super Leiter.Sehr standsicher. Schön tiefe Stufen.Leider ein bisschen zu schwer. Aber da sind Rollen dran, damit man sie schieben kann.

The Little Giant is very sturdy with nice wide steps for a secure climb
This ladder took awhile to arrive, almost 3 wks., but it was well worth it! The Little Giant is very sturdy with nice wide steps for a secure climb. We ordered this ladder to replace the collapsing five step camper ladder that we had. Instead of stepping out onto a slopping camper ladder, we now have the Little Giant with wide, horizontal steps that allow for easy and save entrance to the camper. When we are not using the camper, the ladder will come in handy in the house.
