The hand control is a great convenience for the handicapped. It takes a little adjusting to get it situated right, but it's a great piece of equipment. Becoming accustomed to using it skillfully will take a little experience, it is best to practice in a big empty parking lot to get the "feel" of driving by hand control.Being used to using a foot to apply the brakes, it takes a little experience to get used to the amount of pressure to apply the brakes by hand.It was simple to install the hand control so a non-handicapped individual could drive the vehicle using foot pedals.Best of all this apparatus is very fairly priced, costing thousands of dollars less than some of the high tech devices available.
