I bought this to kill aligator weed in my pond since it claims to be safe for fish. The aligator weed was beginning to spread throughout my pond and take over, it was already on every inch of the shore and spreading inwards. This type of weed can easily choke out a water system if left unchecked or if removed physically (ever piece that breaks forms a new plant). This herbicide did the trick wonderfully in just two applications. I sprayed my pond in sections twice during the spring and quickly I noticed that the aligator weed started to discolor and sink towards the bottom. In a month or so, all of it was dead and has not returned since.This product saved my pond and saved me from having to pay professionals to come and remove it.

I use Shore Klear around the bank of a quarter acre pond. Works very well on a water lilies and a variety of emersed weeds - somewhat effective on tall grass. Mixed it with a few drops of 'Dawn' liquid dishwashing detergent to break the water surface tension for better coverage. Appears to be the same active ingredient at the same concentration as 'Rodeo', but in a lesser quantity at a considerably higher price.

I have been using this product for years to control cattail in my lake and it sure will kill it. I also recently discovered that it also kills weeds and grass growing through my gravel driveway or anywhere else I want to get rid of them, cracks in concrete etc. I originally paid $100 for a quart of it but it is now much more reasonable, works excellent, is much less expensive than Roundup etc. One last thing; it does take much longer to kill weeds than the more common products, usually a week or more but once the weeds die it lasts much longer than any other products I've used, it soaks in and kills roots and all. I usually mix 1.5 ounces with a gallon of water and it seems about right.

We had been looking for a herbicide to use around our pond. We looked at a big name store and could not believe how expensive they were selling this same product for. I told my husband I would look on amazon for it and I am so happy I found it way cheaper here. It works very great kills all unwanted weeds without harming the fish that we have in our pond. Takes a while to fully kill the weed but does work great. I definitely recommend this product.

Ever since Superstorm Sandy we have had major issues with weeds and vegetation growing through our rocks. Nothing we bought in stores has worked - and we have tried pretty much every single weed killer/vegetation killer that is available in all of the major retailers. We were at our wits end and I decided to use Google for some help; after some research we came across this stuff - and I am SO glad that we did!! After 2 applications and about 2 weeks, 95% of the stuff growing around our yard is gone! We will definitely be buying this again.

I used this at recommended concentration to no effect, so I tripled the concentration and you can see the result in the applied area. Complete waste of time and money. DO NOT BUY, DOES NOT WORK!

It worked very well , aprox 48 hrs after spraying the "gator" grass along my dock area and water front it began to turn brown and die.. The only thing it didn't do was pull the dead grass from the waters edge for me (lol)... Thanks for a superb product.. Garry W , Ocklawaha Florida

I had nasty lilies all around the edge and this stuff knocked them right out. I mixed heavy and it took right around a week but once they started to die out they went within 1.5 weeks or so. This took care of all the weeds around the pond and I have cows that drink from the water and did not affect them at all.
