Spirograph Art Studio

Classic Spirograph fun! I bought this for my daughter for Christmas, because she loves to draw, but I ended up playing with the Spirograph more than she did! It is really fun using different colors to create different effects. I never had used one as a kid, and always wanted one. I was afraid it would be difficult to use, but it really isn't. It was packaged very well and authentic. Nice product and would recommend.

I “spoil” my five-year old grandson who loves to do “art”, but he is no Leonardo. However, I want to foster a continued love of all things art-related and encourage his creativity. There are enough colored pens, pencils and markers to offer a wide variety of coloring options. I liked that a carry case was included since it helps prevent lost parts. Children like the case because it allows them to carry the “Kahootz Spirograph Art Studio” when they visit Grandma or when they take a toy along on a long car or plane trip.This design toy allows a child to create interesting, intricate artwork that will satisfy the desire to make something for Grandma or Mommy to hang on the refrigerator. They can take pride in making something that others will admire. Because drawing realistically is not something every child can do, the “Kahootz Spirograph Art Studio” is perfect for the child who may not draw as realistically as other children but who loves art.My grandson was thrilled with the designs he created and presented them to me with evident pride in his accomplishments. I think any child who loves art and design will enjoy this toy and feel the same way about the designs they create.

I thought after all of these years that the Spirograph of today would be better than the one I used to use with red pins attempting hold the pieces down. Well, now a sticky substance is used but still to this day some of the circles end up going under the outer circles while making the designs.

Bought this for Christmas 2015 for one of our Granddaughters. I was really pleased with the quality of this item. It had all kinds of fun things to do, with the Spirograph. This was a toy that brought hours of fun, for me when I was a Child, so I was excited to purchase if the Granddaughter.

This says it's the "original" spirograph, but it doesn't actually contain what I consider to be the spirograph. It has lots of wheels, but the large paper-sized flat plastic piece with the teeth all around the edge that I had as a kid isn't included. Instead you are supposed to just affix a smallish circular thing with teeth to your paper with a few bits of a sticky substance and then you just use the smaller circles with teeth around the outer or inner edges of the bigger circle. So all you can make are circles, you can't go all around the outside of a piece of paper like you used to be able to do. It is very difficult to use and frustrating, the edges are constantly lifting and the pieces go underneath one another.

Poorly made, poor quality connectors, and worthless without the pin/cardboard system of the original. Was really looking forward to creating intricate designs with my little nephew, but neither of us can get good results if the pieces won't stay together, and the putty soon slides off the paper. Very disappointed!

My 34 year old son works a stressful job which requires long hours at home in front of his computer working out problems caused by disembodied voices...intermixed with long pacing conversations with these same where they say, "but I thought I could just....", and he has to repeat ad nauseum, "stop! Just listen!" The look of joy and delight that came over him as he started to unwrap this present, and then turned to me and asked me to Please tell him there really Was a SPIROGRAPH IN THIS BOX!?? Well, Best Christmas Ever!!
