This is a really good product and noticeable improvement of my previous shampoo. My previous shampoo made my hair feel really thin. This one leaves it looking and feeling more full. My previous shampoo left my scalp feeling slightly itchy. This one eliminates any itch. The shampoo makes your hair feel clean and fresh. It also has no noticeable smell which is a good thing for me. I like the consistency and the way it feels in your hand and when you let it sit in your hair. Unlike other detoxing methods, using this charcoal shampoo is pleasurable. I applaud the company for the careful research they did to pioneer an excellent charcoal shampoo.

This is an excellent shampoo regardless of the type of hair you have. It goes on smoothly and has a pleasing fragrance. Your hair comes out soft and not oily and you can style it easily as it drys. They really did a good job on this product.

With most natural shampoos, I typically fight oiliness and breakouts at my hairline, but a couple of years ago I started using this company's oily hair shampoo with rosemary and lavender in it with great success! I was excited to see they released a new shampoo for oily hair (they emailed me and let me know!) so I ordered a bottle to try it. It is always good to be able to switch up things so your body doesn't get too used to them, so this was perfect!In comparison to their other oily hair shampoo that I had been using, these are my observations:1) Definitely removes oil well and end results are great...no breakouts at hairline, no excessive oiliness, I can wash my hair at night and it looks great all day and possibly the next day, it doesn't look oily by the time I wash it again the next night, but I just wash every night, so I haven't experimented with skipping a washing. With other natural shampoos not made by this company for oily hair, my hair would be oily by the time I washed it again and definitely couldn't go another day!2) It doesn't lather as much as their other oily hair shampoo I had been using...but lather doesn't really mean anything about cleaning, it's just a mental thing!3) I find I have to use more of it to get my hair well coated and I have to work it in a little more.My preference is their other product, but I"m really glad they have this one too so I can mix up my routine!Photo is of my hairline 24 hours after washing, with other natural shampoos prior to discovering this company's products, my hairline would always be obviously oily by this time, now it isn't...I could probably go another day, but habit dictates a nightly wash!

It's a very pleasant shampoo. I like how it isn't strongly scented. It is quite thick so you have to wash it off for a while, but it's doable. It didn't work on seborrheic dermatitis. But still a nice shampoo.

I purchased this shampoo several months ago after having used another of their products (the Sage shampoo) for quite some time. Both work great. The Charcoal Shampoo leaves my hair looking great with no signs of oiliness. I can even skip a day and it still looks surprisingly nice. It doesn't have much of a scent. But I don't consider that a bad thing. A small amount of it lathers my hair very nicely and washes out very easily. I use it 2-3 times a week and have for about 4 months now. Despite that, I haven't used more than 25% of the bottle. So, while it's not the cheapest shampoo on the market, a bottle seems to last a long time. I definitely plan to buy more when I run out.

So I dont usually write reviews but since this is a new product for me I wanted to give some feedback. I have been using this company's Tea Tree Shampoo for awhile and think its great, but I saw that they had a new shampoo and really wanted toncheck it out. They hit the nail on head with this one. This shampoo I LOVE. It smells so clean and fresh, not overly perfumed like some. Even my husband and son loved the smell. Not only does it smell great, this shampoo truly has my hair feeling so clean and not frizzy. That pic is 3 day hair and it still feels amd smells amazing and has such a softness to it. . Absolutely a 5 Star for me. I will buy again.

This shampoo is actually pretty great I'm not gonna lie. I was looking for charcoal or clay shampoo that was ok with colored hair and found this stuff. I was pretty happy to figure out it's sulfate and paraben free since I found some other shampoo's fitting what I was looking for but they had sulfates even if they were paraben free.It really helps keep the oil down in my hair though without stripping the heck out of it and leaves it really soft with proper conditioning. I tried going back to a color care shampoo that had sulfates again. That just made me realize how well this stuff works though when ended up having more breakage, oil, and color loss without it so I think it's safe to say I trust it.The only thing I will say on the negative side however is that I really wish I could buy a larger bottle or have a multi pack as I definitely prefer buying stuff like this in bulk.
