I had an Engine Check Light on my 2002 Ford Escape 3.0L V6. After using this plugin my Escape ECM computer went nuts! The Engine Check Light wouldn’t go out and I was getting all kinds of error codes, nothing worked correctly. Cost me thousands of dollars go get fixed! I took my car into a repair shop, they slugged-in their $14,000 Snap-on tester and they said the computer was shot! A new computer, $2000 later and my car is still in the shop. They now say I have a burned-up wiring harness caused by the computer sending out too much voltage. It's been a nightmare! This module has met the fate of my 2lb. baleen hammer!!!

Es ist keine BMW INPA oder gar ISTA Software, aber das Auslesen von Fehlern und das Löschen dieser funktioniert ausgezeichnet. Hervorragend ist bei diesem Gerät auch die Visualisierung der Fehler. Sie werden sehr deutlich in roter Farbe angezeigt. Viele Geräte, welche Freunde von mir haben oder ich bereits in meinen Händen hatte, übersieht man schnell die einzelnen Fehler da die Schriftfarbe der Fehler sich nicht von den anderen Schriften unterscheidet. Wer für wenig Geld mehr Fahrzeuge auslesen will und nicht für jede Marke ein separates Gerät kann sich bei icarsoft mit bsplw. crmax bedienen. Für mich bleibt dies ein praktischer kleiner Fehlerausleser für unterwegs/Urlaub bei welchem ich mir um Akkustand etc. keine Sorgen machen muss. Es kommt nicht in den Shadow-Speicher und kann auch nichts codieren. Dafür kann aber auch nichts kaputt gemacht werden. + Für den Preis ist es ein solides Gerät. + Gerät funktioniert Stand-Alone + Keine Batterie/Akku notwendig da Stromversorgung ausschließlich über die ODB-Schnittstelle erfolgt + regelmäßige Updates über die Hersteller-Webseite + Deutsche Sprachausgabe + Fehler mit Text und nicht nur Codes + gute/verständliche Menu-Führung + Fehler werden rot angezeigt (viele vergleichbare Geräte machen dies nicht!) Sollte in jedem Keller eines BMW-Schraubers liegen und auf einen Einsatz warten.

I spent a while looking at the plethora of scanners and in the end just paid a bit extra and went for the 7910 rather than a more basic model. I’m more used to vintage cars but the 7910 really is as easy as turning on the ignition and plugging it in. A few clicks later and it had completed a full automatic scan and helped me to know where to start looking (misfire in cylinder 5…). It also identified a few other less significant issues which I wasn’t aware of. Appears to be a well made tool that will save me trips to the garage to identify issues.

Rückstellungen des Ölservice und Batterie Registrierung hat funktioniert! Die Bedienung/Übersetzung ist teilweise undurchsichtig und mit vielen Fehlern Deutsch/Englisch durcheinander. Könnte um einiges verbessert werden.
