Set arrived on time but one of the hinges was broken. Seeing the hinges are just thin plastic they will have a limited useful life span as such I will just repair instead of asking for a new one. Pros - Blade clasps are all metal and hold the blade very securely - Blades seem to be made of good quality metal; sharp, plenty of different shapes and sizes - All but the large handle hand tool are metal – hollow metal tubing with finished ends which makes them very light. If you want them heavier fill the metal tubing with whatever you feel is appropriate – epoxy works best for me. Cons - Thin plastic hinges will break with extended use but they are snap-ins, as such are easily replaced with some imagination. - Sharpening stone is too coarse for precision blades – good for sharpening my axe however.
